  Good and fair

  I've tried to stay one night cos of special promotion on official website. As I've also tried many hotels near Taipei Main Station, it's quite comfortable and clean, just matched to their rate and price. Maybe I still have some comments about facilities in rooms, e.g. bathtub is too high, and wardrobe without enough space for luggage bag, etc.

  wonderful location

  stayed for 5 nights. Hotel was easy to find walking from the main station in about 5-7 minutes. It is superbly located equidistant from the main station & the walking street in Ximending. Rooms are adequately sized & equipped. Breakfast okay. Staff very helpful & kind.

  Great stay! Strategic location

  Excellent service and environment. Strategic location that allow easy access to nearby shopping area and transportation. The only draw back is that the food offers from the complimentary breakfast are a bit cold. It's a bit strange that the dishes are not heating up in the pot but just simply put on the plates which serve cold. The congee are served cold as well. I hope this can be improved.

  HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND - cast out long term visitors WITHOUT any pre-notice even when signing, only when we accidentally hear clerks talking so we know the deadline is next month. How come can you not notice your visiter you cannot live here anymore since next month when we are signing long contract? Extreme untrustworthy and irresponsible. Windows gets dust easily and toilet sometimes not working. Not recommended even for short term.

  Good Location. Fair. To the Point

  I used this place for two nights in late November. My room had a large king bed which fit two adults and one baby very comfortably. The carpeting in the room did not make me feel as if I had to wear a slipper all the time though it was very borderline. I don't know why hotels in Taiwan don't use the laminate floors as it's a pretty damp country. The bathroom was clean and the shower was hot and the water flowed strong. Overall, the entire place was clean and well kept though dated. You can find something very similar at the San Want on Chong Hsiao East Road for less. Breakfast is on level B1 and the food was again to the point though decidedly more local and less Western fare. There's also a washer dryer - TWD 70 for the washer and 80 for the dryer. That's about USD2.3 and 2.6. You can get liquid detergent from the front desk that doesn't work well for TWD10 or USD 0.33. I suggest 2 packs. All in all. If you want to be a 10 minute walk (I walk fast) from Taipei Station and can put up with a no frills place. This is it. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean. And the included breakfast made USD $105 a night about right. Though again there are cheaper places to be had which can fulfill the requirement if you're simply needing a clean quiet place to stay. *The photos the hotel uses on Expedia and Hotels.com are fair BUT you won't know that the chair in the room for the desk no longer has a bottom so it was very uncomfortable as my rear end kept sinking too far down, which made me either slouch or sit at the very edge.
