  The room was tidy and clean and bathroom was also. The breakfast is very good and quite quick in serving out. If you go out. the key fob switched off electricity so no heating. So in the winter the room is very cold when you get back in. Till you put key fob in electric meter. The corridor was lovely and warm as this is on main heating. So could be better. The another nit pick is the music playing at breakfast was very depressing. The jams/jellies could be named so you could tell which was blackcurrant or strawberry etc. A menu at breakfast would be nice. not to be asked on first morning would you like the full English. (not knowing what else they serve) but full English was good.

  LOVELY GUESTHOUSE

  Myself and husband stayed here 6-8 March 2020 and what a lovely surprise this guesthouse turned out to be. After previously staying in the Albany Hotel and Fourcroft hotels and reading the reviews for those, I was expecting the same for Hammond Park in that it would be dated and basic, but no it was very very good. We stayed in Room 11 with a four poster bed and can honestly say it was the best bedroom I have been allocated whilst staying in Tenby. The owner did try to book us in earlier than the 4 o'clock check in time but the room was not ready but gave us the keys ready, so we headed into town for food and drink and returned after 4pm to check in but without having to wait for keys. Nice touch. The breakfast was good quality and piping hot and the array of cereals very good too. The only reason I have not scored this 5 was due to the noise level on the first night. A group of people staying in the guesthouse decided to have a full blown conversation outside our bedroom after returning from their night out and were quite loud and there for some time with little regard for other guests. It is not the fault of the hotel because there is signage asking guests to be respectful of other visitors, but it did wake us up and took a while to get back to sleep. Fortunately this was not repeated on the second night of our stay. All in all a fantastic weekend and would not hesitate to stay here again when in Tenby. Thank you Hammond Park

  1 star food hygiene and terrible room

  Me and by boyfriend booked this hotel as it was the only one available with parking at the time, we got there the room smelt old and stale, the shower was a trickle and either was freezing or burning and they only had a 1 star food hygiene rating

  ANOTHER GREAT STAY

  Stayed here with my husband 11 - 13 September for a mini vacation. We could not have the room we stayed in before as already booked but allocated Room 3 on ground floor. The room was spotless and still had a sea view. Bed was very comfy and we slept well both nights Only complaint was the shower was not that powerful but did the job and the temperature was fine. Due to current restrictions, the host had to serve the breakfasts to each table as the buffet style option was not available but not fault of guest house. Breakfast was of a very good quality with a number of items on offer ie croissant, fruit/yoghurt followed by a full english breakfast and never ending cups of coffee. We enjoyed our stay yet again and alreadymade another reservation for early next year, all being well Thank you Hammonds Park, and look forward to staying with you again

  Very good location

  Our room was very clean and the whole place was covid safe. The rules for wearing masks and sanitising your hands were made clear. The breakfst was hearty but the bacon got more and more overcooked each day. It would have been nice to be offerred jam or marmalade for the toast. We were offered fruit 1 out of the 5 morings and a croissant 2 out of the 5 morings. The room was bright and spacious with a view of the sea in the distance. Bathroom nice as welll but we were only given one toilet roll at a time for some reason and had to keep asking for another one. It is in an excellent location. There is adequate off road parking which means you can leave your car and walk into the town of Tenby. It takes 10 to 15 minutes but bear in mind it is uphill coming back. A brillaint base for exploring Tenby or the local area.
