  Trip to Corning museum of glass

  We had a great visit to the Hampton. Lots of extras that we appreciated. Staff was helpful and attentive, breakfast delicious and bed so cozy. Our grandkids had a great time in the pool which gave us a break.

  Nice place for a stay

  This hotel is well-maintained. The staff was friendly. Due to COVID19, the breakfast buffet was not available, but they did have an indoor pool we could use. Due to COVID19, they are restricting how many people can be in the indoor pool at one time, but we were able to get a dip in. The hotel doesnt seem to be walking distance from much, so you will need to use your car if you want to explore the area.

  Covid19 negatively impacted 5* rating for recommending Hampton Inn , our preferred HHonors property .

  Due to covid19, no breakfast buffet; AM coffee not served in lobby and grab and go breakfast was minimal, Trusted Hilton that room had been sanitized and vacant for 24 hrs prior; it did seem clean . Did not use indoor pool as we were apprehensive and put off by having to reserve half hr time-slot.. No daily housekeeping ;. We had to empty trash ourselves, obtain clean towels from front desk . In room coffee- maker delivered coffee that was curdled either by old dehydrated creamer or debris in unit, so we opted for microwave tea with bottled water. HHonors offered no discount on room rate. Guest services was pleasant with contactless check-in and checkout; Lots of hand sanitizing stations..

  Staff went out of its way

  During a two-day end-of -July 2020 stay, Manager Margie Mattison; front desk clerks Kimberly and Shaylon; and housekeep Carol M. all went out of their way to make us comfortable and accommodate our needs. It's refreshing to see a hotel staff so on top of its game. We recommend the Hampton Inn at Painted Post, and thank the staff for its willingness to be of help.

  Gone downhill

  We stayed at this hotel about 5 years ago and thought it was great. Very disappointed in our stay last week. Kinda run-down. We were planning out sitting out pit at night but it was broke. No breakfast, pool, lobby, fitness center due to the covid which I could understand if everything else was up to par. On the positive side: We got a good rate and it was in a safe location, near attractions.
