  Nice new property

  We stayed at this new Hampton Inn in Superior on the way to Minnesotas North Shore. The rate was less than in Duluth and its just over the I-535 bridge. The breakfast was much better than our last Hampton Inn stay in Madison a month ago. Not sure if it was a corporate decision to improve the breakfast or a local one. Good job, Superior! We had take out from Golden Inn next door. Very happy with both the hotel and the restaurant!

  This hotel seems very new. The room was also new designs with the bed towards window. There are three layers of curtains so the light-proof was excellent. Pool was heated but you need to pick up a towel from front desk. All the amenities were well-appointed.

  Hampton Inns need to work on soundproofing between rooms

  Our first night staying at this Covid-clean hotel was great. The bedding was comfortable and it was very quiet. The second night was miserable because we could not sleep due to a loud family in the room next to us. There was an adjoining door between the two rooms, and I could hear every word between the parents and children when they were in the bathroom. I tapped on the door to give them a hint to tone things down, but that did it work. Theres just not much insulation between these doors in the newer-built Hampton Inns. The power flush toilet will scare the daylights out of you the first time you flush, but its nice to have. There were a wide variety of choices for breakfast and the breakfast area was one for seating. We got our food and took it back to our room.

  Great stop!

  We are Hampton Inn fans, and we were very pleased with this one! We were passing through while on a long road trip. Very clean, we washed clothes in the laundry room, and even grabbed a few snacks from the "snack area." The only strange thing was that we could definitely smell some cigarette smoke in our bathroom that was coming through the vent. I reported this as it's a non-smoking hotel, and it seemed to improve - didn't affect our stay. They actually served breakfast and coffee which was so nice - in light of many hotels doing "bag breakfasts" due to COVID. A refreshing and relaxing stay.

  Horrible

  Was there this past weekend and felt so insecure. Very apparent illegal activity coming and going through main entrance right past managers at the front desk. Staff was not friendly when we asked them to clean the tables in the breakfast area. Saw no one walking around disinfecting any high touch areas. Avoid at all cost.
