Totally happy with the room, and the poolbar guy was so great!!

Ok, Room: Was happy with it all, although i had a room to the back of the building i got to watch birds and horses and stuff. AC worked great. TV was upgraded to a flat with USB connection so i could watch movies. Channels on TV useless. I could even change language on it cuz cyrillic is to damn hard! Good size fridge also for the beer :-) WIFI worked a charm! Was there late June and no problem with chairs around the pool, maybe a lot of people go to the beaches. It was really cluttered. Pool was great! It is also checked from 8-18 by a baywatch dude who likes his metal.... :-) Breakfast ok for me who like the eggs and sausages, where pancakes and bread for the carblovers. Expect to point on meny if eating in restaurant, girls there and cleaners dont know a single word of english. Everything is cheap as ell. I would go back just to chit chat with the pool barkeep, top bloke! I learned from him that the reception staff is russian and do know some english. Do think of the fact that for example the poolbarkeep makes 600 lev/month and that is like 300£ so DO tip a lot, many of them are very worth the extra!

    Decent stay

In general a nice experience. Room was good, even though the shower was half way out of order. Pool area was the best, except for the bartender playing the same goddamn techno song day in, day out. Restaurant was poor though. Really below average both in quality and the range of food to choose from. Really should be improved in the future.

    Great stay

We chose the hotel due to its more reasonable prices but still being close to the beach and the old town. Our rooms were clean, the A/C worked fine and the staff were mostly friendly. The swimming pool was never too crowded - contrary to the beach and the restaurant has a nice selection. The beach is about 5 min, the old town about 15 min on foot. The wifi didn't work though. Overall we were happy with what we got for our money.

    Lovely hotel

This is the third year we are staying in this lovely hotel in Sozopol. The hotel has a great swimming pool which is never overcrowded. The breakfast is standard for a bulgarian buffet breakfast. Can do with more options like full English breakfast options, which are popular with most visitors. Special thanks to the housekeeping lady who was so nice and always left the room in incredible condition. All other staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

    Good for the price

A very good hotel for the price. Good pool. Rooms are rather small but most have views of the town on the hillside. A shower curtain in the bathroom would have been a useful addition. Breakfast choice a bit limited. Cooked eggs is a choice of scrambled and boiled. No fruit juice but squash. Did not use the restaurant for other meals so no comment on that. No laundry service. Friendly and helpful staff. Wrist band identification tagging in operation. No noisy bars nearby so a good night's sleep is assured. As long as you don't expect 4 star luxury, it's a good place to stay.
