  Recomendable!!!!

  El hotel es pequeño, con unas 20 cabañas. Tiene estacionamiento, un restaurante, una pequeña piscina, 2 piletones en el río Daintree que se ven turquesa (cuando no llueve). La ubicación es buena para hacer el recorrido en la zona. La cabaña es cómoda, con ventilador, a/a, pava eléctrica, café/te, frigobar, agua mineral y tv con dvd (tiene una gran cantidad de dvd). No hay señal de cable, ni teléfono ni wifi. El desayuno está incluido y está muy bien, co tostadas, frutas, mermelada casera etc. La atención siempre fue muy buena y siempre nos sentimos cómodos. Recomendado para hacer unos días en la zona y recorrerla.

  A Very Enjoyable Stay

  I really enjoyed staying at the Heritage Lodge. My cabin was spacious and comfortable and set in the wonderful surroundings of the rainforest. There is a small pool but the beautiful crystal-clear creek is much lovelier to swim in. I had really delicious meals every evening in the lovely restaurant that overlooks the creek. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and ensured I had a pleasant stay. I would certainly recommend staying here and hope to do so again myself one day.

  Set beautifully in the rainforest with gorgeous swimming holes

  The best part of the Heritage Lodge was the fresh water creek and swimming holes, where our kids spent hours swimming with the turtles and fish and playing in the rocks (bear in mind we were there in rainy season after recent rains). The cabins were basic but comfortable and are literally surrounded by rainforest with all the creatures that belong there (including a cassowary which we saw a couple of times wandering around the cabins). There was a DVD player in the room with a wide selection of DVD's to borrow. It was nice having a small swimming pool for the kids to use if necessary. The restaurant serves high quality dinner. Breakfast was pretty basic, but enough to get you going and out on your adventures each day. The staff were super helpful and friendly.

  Enjoyable stay in the rainforest. Recommended!

  Wonderful lodge in the rainforest. Swimming in the creek and swimming holes! Beautiful cabins. You really are disconnected, in the middle of the rainforest, without internet, tv or telephone! The manager is a very nice lady, very helpful. Choice of DVDs and boardgames you can watch and play in your cabin!

  Nice lodge in the rainforest

  Stayed with family for four nights in July 2019. Nice lodge in a beautiful rainforest setting a few miles south of the hustle and bustle of Cape Trib. If you are into nature and want to get away from it all, this is the place for you. Don't expect TV or fast WiFi. They offer a large DVD selection and rather expensive, spotty WiFi service in the restaurant area instead. Rooms are a little dated, but we didn't mind because they were clean and we only spend the night there anyway. The restaurant offers a small but delicious selection of food. Staff is very friendly. Unfortunately (although I understand the reason why) they also accomodate larger tour groups on their way up north, so even if you are a paying guest in the lodge you might end up not getting the food you want if you are having dinner a little later in the evening. If I had the chance I would definitely return, although I would probably not stay as long. Rainforest and beaches can get boring very quickly, and there's not much else to do in the area. Vicki and staff -- take care and be well. Hope that COVID doesn't ruin your place. Phil from Oregon
