  Highlight of our trip

  Would definitely recommend. Our room was newly renovated, had great views and was super clean. The thing that will bring us back tho was the hospitality. The owners are genuinely lovely and go out of their way to make you welcome. - Luke and Sylvs

  Amazing Last minute booking !!

  Amazing slice of paradise, perfect location, stunning views, clean and renovated rooms. Could not have asked for a better last minute hotel even came with complementary croissants for breaky. Will definitely be coming back !!

  Loved our stay !

  Wonderful stay in renovated exhale deluxe room for 2 nights on our way to Canberra from Melbourne . The refurbishment of this 60s style motel has been stylishly done while retaining some of its original vibe . Comfy King bed with lovely linen & decor plus delivery of fresh croissants each morning & lovely communal lounge to chill & take in amazing views was fabulous .Staff extremely friendly & helpful . Many thanks to Ali, Kimberley & owner Caspar for a wonderful stay . Look forward to returning sometime & seeing completion of the next phase . Will definitely recommend . Sue & Tony

  Great refurb of a timeless classic

  The amazing transformation undertaken by the Hillcrest crew is well worth it in recreating a style and comfort seldom found in modern hotels. From the warm welcome at the front desk by Kimberly to the enthusiastic chats with Casper, the owner, you can tell this place with be 'No Vacancy' more often than not. Warm, fresh crossiants and jam each morning served to the room are a small but important ingredient of adding a touch of class to the best view in Merimbula from the comfort of a soft bed with a large screen smart TV. The pool and surrounds, tennis court and volleyball grass have been restored and improved and we look forward to returning when the dining room is ready for action. We chose the Merimbula Suite and enjoyed every minute of our 4 day stay (after extending for a day).

  Second time around and will always stay if its available

  Travelled with my partner, though was a work trip. Nice boutique vibe to this hotel with a lovely pool, awesome amenities, down to the coffee which is amazing. Kimberly and Ali are so welcoming, the view here is stunning to catch the sunrise. Cant fault the place.
