  Nice hotel and good staff

  Good hotel with clean rooms. The staff was very kind and helpful. It is a 5-min walk to the closest (and nice) beach. 5-min walk to an area with a lot of modern restaurants. City center is quite far but with a taxi it's just about 10 min away, painless. From my point of view, the breakfast was good but not all of my (French) friends agreed. So if you are a foreigner, open your mind and be prepared to have a Vietnamese style breakfast ! Also, be warned that breakfast start and end quite early. Closing is normally at 8am (but the staff agreed to close at 9am for our group). We were a group of about 9-10 French foreigners who didn't think about booking our nights in Da Nang in advance...we were lucky enough to find this hotel the first night, we had to move to another for the second night (the staff helped us A LOT to find another hotel as theirs was full), and we were happy to be proposed to go back to this one on the third night. So thank you to the whole Hoa Mai Boutique Hotel team !

  If you just sleep there you might survive a night or two

  Hotel costed 20 per night and I guess we shouldn't expect much more from it. Rooms are new but tasteless and not cozy. Shower in the middle of the bathroom makes mess everytime you take shower. Breakfast was not bad, though and they rent motorbikes. It is relativelly close to the beach. Staff speaks poor English. If you just need to sleep over it is ok.

  Fantastic Stay, Very Clean

  Our family really enjoyed the clean and bright room! The hotel looks newly renovated and charming. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Although, I'm not sure how good their English is because our family is also fluent in Vietnamese so we mostly used that. The Wi-Fi was working beautifully because they had a router for each floor. The bathroom is a shower + toilet combo which is standard for Vietnam. Western visitors may take some time adjusting to the style but we found it very clean and comfortable as well. We were also able to rent scooters from the hotel which we drove all the way to the nearby city, Hoi An and returned them a few days later.

  Very bad

  First, we book 2 weeks before on booking.com for one room 3 persons but when we arrived, they said, "sorry we haven't your room. But you will have 2 room with big bed." But the price become twice the one on booking. so they offered to put a bed in the room, this is not a bed just a carpet and the room is so small that is not possible. So they are offering a little reduce on the price fort their mistake. They are far from restaurant. The beach is close (only good point). The room is not big but correct. Although this is very noisy the morning at 7am, the rooms are not soundproof.. .. The breakfast is bad: Water, bread and egg.... Things on the desk with water is not indicated for pay. In the book it is not indicated but when you leave, they want you to pay for the coffee (that you have not in breakfast) . Really disappointed, it is the 4th hotel in our trip in Vietnam and it is the only one bad. They are almost not speaking English, don't help you to carry the luggages and don't smile at all. Never again !

  Good hotel good price

  We spend for two night here and it's really nice.. Room are clean, service is good.. The receptionist really nice, helping with our inquiry, (even sometimes they don't understand in English), but still, they are good receptionist. Price was good for double bed and include breakfast.. Breakfast is Ala cart, and only 4 choices, but it's not bad for the hotel with price only 350.000VND/night.. And it's soo close to the beach, in the evening time, you will see nice seafood restaurant around the hotel, Street food around the beach, and many more... Also this hotel is very close with The Laddy Budha, only 19 mnt by motor bike.. So, this hotel is recommended for you guys if you want spend in the hotel near the beach, close to many touristic area and with good price..
