  Unexpectedly Amazing!

  Ive spent a good amount of time in hotels because I travel often for work and for leisure. I usually pay about $100/night and have an average experience. However! This Holiday Inn was INCREDIBLE. Super clean! It felt well cared for, manicured! It was quiet. The beds were superbly comfortable! The pillows were labeled either firm or soft and they held true to their label! I went to bed overly exhausted after an 11-hour motorcycle ride from NC and woke refreshed after a very good nights sleep!! Additionally, the greeting I got upon arrival made me feel like a valued customer even during this trying time of pandemic! I will definitely stay here next time Im in the area!!!

  NO, just say no.

  First the staff is very nice. The facilities are VERY DISAPPOINTING FOR NEW HOLIDAY INN. The rooms are TINY. There is not even a place to work, a very small round table, that has a kurig machine, no room to even open a lap top. The Beds for some reason are on platforms. Darn my wife could not even get in without jumping and it was hard for me as well. The small referatator did not get very cold. In order to watch TV you had to sit on the bed, not a chair in sight. The lobby area, sported a bar and eating area which were closed, COVID. The AC in our room weised like it was short of breath, and mostly decided on it own when it could get cold. I would NOT go back to this holiday inn, just NOT what I expect from a Holiday INN and I am a long time user of IHG properties. Again the staff was very nice, I am guessing the owner is a bit on the cheap side squeezing as much revenue out of a small space as possible. Stayed at Holiday Inn Express and been much more comfortable

  Great staff, clean and safe and near tons of restaurants and shopping.

  I really like this hotel. Convenient location with restaurants and shopping all around it. Most of the time staff at hotels are friendly and these folks were but they also REALLY seemed like they cared and wanted to bend over backwards to do whatever we asked to make our stay better. Rooms were spotless and updated. They accommodated putting our group of rooms on the same floor at the last minute, made sure a microwave was placed in our room ahead of our arriving, and chatting with us about our stay and gave us tips of area information on restaurants. Tracy and Samantha on the phone ahead were patient and helpful, John at the front desk was AWESOME, and Nick at the breakfast gave stellar service.

  Bed bugs and staff smoking weed outside and not wearing mask.

  This place is terrible. Awful staff and dirty, nasty rooms. Staff goes outside at night and smokes weed in parking lot. Reported bed bugs and was told if I didnt like it, leave. Bed was nasty with hairs on it, tube was nasty and dirty. Staff refused to even acknowledge the issues. They just asked us to leave if we were unhappy.

  Night away

  In Anderson around the holidays visiting family. Had grandparents babysitting so we got a night away. Location is very central Anderson. Nearby restaurants if you need them. Our room was clean and comfortable. The one weird thing was the height of the bed was high. I do not know about other rooms but ours had a very high bed. I am 5"3 and had to get use to getting on and off the bed. The bed was comfortable to sleep on though. It did give my husband and I some giggles about getting on and off the bed. Would stay here again.
