  BEST PLACE TO STAY IN ELIZABETHTOWN

  This is definitely the Best Place to Stay in Elizabethtown! From the friendly efficient checkin (even at 11:30 pm!) to the no problem quick checkout this Holiday Inn Express could not have been any better! SUPER clean lobby, hallways and especially our room! SUPER COMFY bed! And DELICIOUS HOT BREAKFAST with great variety- bacon, turkey sausage, biscuits and gravy, veggie omelets, cheese omelets, hash browns, oatmeal and then all the other regular breakfast foods - yes especially those scrumptious HOT CINNAMON ROLLS! (You could make your own pancakes but we didnt. We ate too much the way it was!) Everything we ate was very tasty. Nothing was greasy. Again another SUPER clean area. There were three nice ladies making sure everything was well stocked (and clean). A friendly helpful staff made our stay complete! Keep up the great job! See you next time!!! When I read the review to my husband, he said that I might have messed up... it might be full next time. We did appreciate the AARP discount!

  Great Holiday Inn

  This is a relatively new Holiday Inn with very large rooms & comfy beds. They have a great seasonal patio, a nice indoor pool & good fitness equipment. Staff were friendly; recommend staying here if you are in Elizabethtown.

  Great welcome

  Im reluctantly traveling in a pandemic to attend a funeral. Kandice at the front desk was welcoming and upbeat. Her facility was better prepared than the Holiday Inn Express from the prior night in Arkansas: locked front door, wipes, sanitizer. Still, this hotel chain needs to work in touch less ID and pay. I really like the room set up in these new Holiday Inn Express hotels. There are generous power and light sources with a tiled entry and bath. The microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig are appreciated. All staff here wore masks. The breakfast was still on but not buffet. Desired items were available to go and served with gloves. Much appreciated. Lots of to go food items available within a short walk for lunch or dinner. Nice pet lawn.

  Stopping outside of Louisville

  A very clean and secure location! An employee must let you in when you first arrive. After that, a room key is used to just enter the main lobby. The pool is inside and available, but sign-ups at the front desk are required, and the employee walks you to th pool to let you inside. Beautiful deck at the back for sunset watching. Conveniently located near the interstate and several restaurants.

  Failed to Comply with COVID-19 requirements

  I contacted the hotel management prior to my stay to inquire about their COVID-19 plans, which I received a clear response. However, there were numerous staff without wearing masks and many guests not wearing masks and not being told that it is a requirement. The hotel had signs everyone about mask mandates and other covid-19 related requirements. However, it appears that the hotel is not complying with this requirement.
