  I currently stay at numerous holiday inns. For the most part they are the same. Some more amenities than the other. Checked into the hotel and was greeted by Star the night time attendant. His welcome, his attention and professionalism with a smile and positive attitude was a great welcome to our long day. Hotel room was good. Updated or new hotel. Recommendable

  rude desk clerk and no breakfast coffee!

  We tried to check in at 2:45 PM, but were rudely told that check in begins at 3:00. Usually when this happens we are directed to sit in the lobby and offered coffee. This did not happen. We returned at 3:05 to a totally new desk staff, but then check in went okay. The carpet in our hallway was stained and in need of professional cleaning. The room however was fine, A/C was a little noisy, but okay. The beds in fact were great. We did come back both nights to find the side doors ajar, which I think is a big safety issue. My biggest complaint is with the breakfast. We arrived both days about 8:15 AM and one day there was no coffee left, and the next only one carafe had a little lukewarm coffee. THe first day they were out of eggs and pancake mix. So my husband had a healthy meal of lots of breakfast meats and a danish. The second day of our stay they were out of plates and napkins. On both days the breakfast attendant came in about 8:30, and was a whirlwind trying to get things stocked. But I definitely think that a hotel this size that offers free breakfast needs a full time attendant. We stay at lots of HIEx and HI hotels, and this particular hotel is the worst one we have ever stayed at. Won't be back, even though we plan to go to Boynton often.

  Rude Desk Clerk & Unwanted Early Wake Up Call

  Upon arrival at 9:00 pm on 3/5, desk was unattended. Clerk - no name tag but Number 4 tattoo on a finger on right hand - took her time to come out. She acted very put out that she had to check us in. She was very curt and after showing her my ID for the per-payed stay, she asked to see it again with my credit card. She said the hotel was charging/holding $50 for incidentals. Not sure why my card was needed as it was obviously on file from pre-payment and considering there is no restaurant for room service, what additional expense could One charge to the room? We were instructed to use the main entrance because the side entrance closer to our parked car could not be used. We used it anyway. Room was fine and the barn door partition front the entry hall was a nice feature for extra room darkening. Slept well. Until 5:00 am that is. We were wakened by an automated wake up call that we never requested. At breakfast, food was typical for HIE. However, the tables were dirty and not wiped between guests and garbage cans were full. Upon checkout, I inquired as to the 5:00 am wake up call and how that could happen. Same clerk said that the system must have been the problem. Not an acceptable answer and no apology. I stay exclusively at HIE sites for business and pleasure. This property is not recommended.

  Great Place

  This was a very clean hotel-motel, with spacious rooms and a helpful staff. It also had a good breakfast selection excluded that always satisfied our palette. It was close to the interstate 95 and local beaches and attractions.

  TERRIBLE

  i authorized my daughter 1 nite stay at the price of $109 over the phone at approzimately 1 am on 10/267checked my credit card at approx 3 am and was charged $346 i immediately tried to contact hotel and could not get thru like the line was dead (DIDNT pay phone bill???) i finally get someone in corporate tell my story they tell me someone will get back with in 48 hrs???? UNACCEPTABLE dont know if my daughter extended the stay because phone lines are down but irregardless I the owner of credit card only authorized 1 nite i will NOT pay a second nite because these people cant pay their phone bill.i emailed them at approximately 4 am and again at 745 telling them i was going to these reviews and overseers im in the process of calling state attorney general and BBB ... fair WARNING stay away from HOLIDAY INN
