Dangerous situation causing injuryWhen I put my hand in the metal slot to close the bathroom door, it severely cut the three middle finger. I bled profusely and had to wear bandages for the next couple of days. The date of my visit was March 14 and the cuts have still not healed and I am still being treated with antibiotics. This was a sliding door but there was no pocket for it to slide into. It slammed against the wall causing the metal to cut into my fingers. Hotel management has give me the run around and refuses to discuss it.

Stay somewhere else! The Bad: We arrived at this hotel too late at night to go and try to find another hotel. Bad area surrounding the hotel, including lots of homeless people under the bridge right by the hotel. This was of concern too because your car is fairly close to this bridge and the only things around the hotel are just a short field, train tracks, and this bridge nearby. When questioning the check-in person about the area and if they ever had problems, his response was "not really". He went on to saw that the area wasn't TOO bad but "the Kingsley" across the street was a big problem. As I am checking in, a hotel guest wearing only like panties or something and barefoot walked past me. Two other guests that I saw were questionable. While the hotel cannot help who their guests are, it definitely was an indication of the area and what kind of people stay at this hotel. Hallways and room reeked of cigarettes. Room was not clean and things were broken in the bathroom. Tub faucet was broken, tub hand rail and wall beside it were cracked, sticky stuff on night stand, stuff/spots on air conditioning unit, frayed carpet, dirty windows, etc. The next morning, I headed downstairs to check out. There were three people behind the desk. One girl leaned back in a chair casually, one on the computer, and another standing. They were all talking. Not one word of greeting. Once I was standing in front of them and there was lag in their conversation, the one standing finally asked if I was checking out. The one lounging in the chair with the tattoo on her neck and leg tucked under her continued to lounge and had a rude and unprofessional attitude. The person who checked me out seemed to be a manager or something and she was polite and nice. The guy who had checked me in the night before was nice as well. Definitely didn't expect this from a Holiday Inn and overall, this place was so disappointing. But then again, it has been many years since I have stayed in a Holiday Inn so maybe the quality of the chain had gone down. Very low standards in some of their staff, their cleaning, and the quality of their rooms. The Good: Beds and pillows were comfy. The room was a nice size.

Neil !!!Niel is all I have to say he is so bright and kind! Hotel is new clean and to the point microwave and fridge super convenient This was my second time staying here and I feel very comfortable!! Its also very quiet, Im usually visiting family when I come to Dallas so the downtown area isnt for me but its easily accessible regardless.

Front desk is awful!!!!Keep driving down I635.........park and sleep in your car before u stay here. No sleep, rude staff.....multiple noise complaints of teenagers with no adults in the room. The did NOTHING about it, but required my 7 year old niece to wear a mask! Priorities.....this hotel sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!
