  Great place to rest while exploring Yosemite

  The hotel was very comfortable and accommodating. Beds were perfect and both firm and soft pillows were there. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed to enjoy our Yosemite trip, fridge, microwave. We would definitely stay again if we are in the same area.

  Great hotel

  Wonderful hotel with plenty of free parking. Easy check-in. The rooms were lovely and clean. Great location outside Yosemite park. Nice breakfast. Dining area was clean and staff announced fresh eggs and bacon when available. We loved our stay.

  Good jump off point to Yosemite

  On a hot 100 degree day, I had two rooms booked and arrived almost two hours early seeing if I could check in. The young man at the front desk was able to accommodate one room, requested away from the highway, and said the other room would be ready by regular check in time. In good with that, drop off the luggage, turned on the AC, left my stepson there and my wife and I went to the store, less than a five minute drive. Second room was ready when we returned. Had a nice stay as this was the jump off point to Yosemite. Pool was down for maintenance. Our room was three rooms from the elevator but I never heard it, I will say the breakfast clerk was overwhelmed as coffee was not replenished because he was working of the pancake maker that seems to breakdown. I was still happy with the stay and would recommend it.

  Above average Holiday Inn Express

  I waited until I got home to write this review. Over the past week I have stayed in four five different hotels on vacation in the San Francisco/Monterey/ Yosemite area. Most were in the IHG family. Of all the holiday inn expresses this was my top choice. I booked a room they said with extra space, it was a few dollars more so I decided go for it. Not sure what was originally in the space, we had a couch and coffee table but no tv etc. it was kinda weird to tell you the truth. But we had tons of space for our things and if you had a child and needed some extra space it would have been prefect. The only fault was the breakfast, consistently all week, everyone was out of food, choices were more limited than usual, honestly for me, it not worth the free breakfast anymore because you jsut cant count on them for a quality product. Sorry
