  Needs Better Cleaning

  We stayed at the property for 3 nights. The first night we came back late, used our own wipes to wipe down all of the common surfaces, and found the room to be dirty in those areas, just like other properties we have visited. However, we also noticed a dirty toilet and a dirty wall next to the sink. There was toothpaste and toilet paper stuck to the wall. We cleaned all of the areas as it was late. The next day I let the front clerk know of the dirtiness. She apologized, but did not really offer any discount as we did the cleaning. Unacceptable. Also, and this is not the fault of the service staff, the faucet has been installed so close to the edge of the sink that you cannot properly wash your hands without splashing the water everywhere and touching the sink. Either the faucet needed to be installed few inches closer to the sink, or the faucet needed to be much longer. That's the bad. For the good, the outside tiki bar offered great space to be outside. The outside pool was open, but loud with many kids enjoying the water. The food at the Burger Theory is mediocre. Eat elsewhere. There is a great brewery a 3 minute walking distance from the property that offers much better food. If you are planning on using a ride sharing app or a taxi to get to downtown, at this time, it is non existent. We thought we could walk the 1.5 miles, but it involves walking bridges and unsafe pathways. You will need to drive to get to the center of Grand Haven.

  Good Family Hotel

  This hotel is easy to find, close to a lot of attractions and good for families. The hotel is clean and the service is wonderful. Check-in was easy and our room was nice. They have an indoor and outdoor pool. The connected restaurant has good food and daily specials. The Tiki bar is nice. Loved being able to walk along the dock and see all the big boats.

  Great hotel for a getaway to the Grand Haven area!

  We had a great two night stay and couldn't have asked for anything more. The hotel is in a great location, close to Grand Haven, beaches, and restaurants, and is clean and updated. The staff are friendly and taking COVID precautions seriously. There's even a tiki bar, which was a fun addition to the trip (and has good happy hour deals!). We'll be back!

  Nice, Clean Hotel near Grand Haven

  This is a nice, clean, quiet hotel good for anyone visiting the Grand Haven/Muskegon area. We enjoyed the pool (it was open) and the restaurant was good too. During our time at the pool we saw a staff member disinfecting everything as a COVID precaution, which I appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

  Excellent Wedding Planning Experience

  Dana and her Wedding Planning team were so helpful, kind, thorough, and enthusiastic in helping me plan my wedding reception. They listened to my desires, offered a variety of great options within their beautiful venue, and were so excited along with me to make it such a special day! I'm really grateful for how this staff planned such a wonderful wedding reception!
