  Great Place to Stay

  Hotel was clean and quiet. Rooms very comfortable. Check in was easy. Convenient parking. Employees were courteous and helpful. WiFi worked well. Within walking distance of Main St. Restaurant staff provided excellent service. Food was good and fair priced. Great breakfast buffet. Comfortable beds.

  Great resaturant

  Hotel has a great reasturant in Harrigans. They have a different buffet each week day. On Tuesday the turkey is wonderful and you can have as much as you can eat. Bar is full service and prices are about normal.

  One Night Stay

  Check in was speedy and went well. Kind of surprised that they charged a small fee for parking and that there was no breakfast buffet. The outside of the hotel and lobby were updated, although the lobby had the smell of bleach or pool chemicals. I had a room on the 3rd floor, overlooking the Rite Aid. While the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, you could tell this was an older establishment. I chose to leave for dinner as the reviews for the restaurant were not the best. I did grab a breakfast sandwich in the restaurant the morning of checkout. It was ok. There was one server who was working her tail off (she was a little older and seemed very pleasant). My server, while she waited on me, she never did come back to ask how the food way. Disappointed with that. The restaurant was dark and is in dire need of updating.

  Good Downtown Option

  Stay Report - 9/19 to 9/20 Location: The hotel is located in Downtown Johnstown on the corner of Market and Vine.  All the downtown attractions: The Incline Plain, the baseball park, the War Memorial Arena, restaurants and bars etc. are an easy walk from the hotel.  JST Airport is about 11 minutes away and the hotel's proximity to PA 56 makes it easy to get to US 219 which takes you towards Pittsburgh. Hotel: The hotel is an aging downtown property though that makes it fit in with Johnstown as a whole.  That said it is in a good state of repair inside though obviously it feels a little dated.  There's a surface lot around the hotel and they're charging all of $5 to park overnight but there's also ample street parking and garage parking especially on weekends.  There's a bar and restaurant still open in the lobby as well as event space.  Thankfully there were no elevator waits when I was there. Check In: I was staying with my brother who's IHG Platinum.  The hotel had the names of all elites checking in on the board including his.  We were checked in by a friendly and helpful agent and his welcome amenity points posted. Room: About what you'd expect.  Two comfortable beds with outlets next to them, decent sized TV, microwave and fridge and a small sitting area.  The bathroom was definitely on the small size but the shower got hot and the water pressure was good.  Soundproofing is an issue, you can hear every word said next door, and the Wifi was spotty. Overall if you have to be downtown this hotel works fine.  It's also a good deal on points especially on weekends.  I had a good stay.

  Limited amenities

  I don't think they should charge the regular full price since all the amenities are not available. Their pool is open,but the sauna and hot tub have not been open for months and that is factored into the price is it not?
