  Nuevo y muy grato

  Situado en las afueras de la población, junto a un cruce de carreteras, junto a un edificio de oficinas y un hospital y sin viviendas alrededor, dispone de parking propio a un precio módico. El hotel es nuevo y resulta muy agradable en todas sus estancias comunes. El personal de recepción estuvo atento y fue muy profesional en todo momento, al igual que el resto del personal, muy del perfil aleman, resultarían perfectos con un poco de chispa mediterránea. Las habitaciones amplias al igual que el baño, discretamente decoradas, resultan muy agradables. Amplia y cómoda cama, bien equipada. Armario, escritorio, butaca, televisión, todo lo necesario para una cómoda estancia, incluido el imprescindible wifi gratuito. Las noches son muy plácidas, sin ningún tipo de ruido proveniente del entorno. Dispone de un gimnasio muy bien equipado, con material moderno y todo lo necesario para disfrutar de una completa sesión de sauna. Excelentes instalaciones en la última planta. El desayuno se sirve desde las 6:30 horas y se puede disfrutar de una exquisita y completa comida de la mañana En definitiva, un excelente hotel con una inmejorable relación calidad-precio.

  New modern hotel

  Very good modern hotel with comfy rooms. Room is spacious, new and good equipped. You have electric hot pot in your room, and staff refills coffee and teabags everyday for free. Very friendly hotel staff. Hotel is next to newly built hospital with heliport, but noise from helicopter is not disturbing. Hotel restaurant is avarage - not good not terrible :). They have a free gym and sauna (i guess it´s free). +fresh new modern rooms +very comfy beds +tasty breakfast +good service +clean room everyday -same breakfast everyday, for 2 weeks they didnt add anything new (which is shame, because breakfast was very tasty every day, but after a long stay youll get sick of it) -free parking lot was always full, you have to pay for toll parking spot -hotel staff didnt change my bed sheets for 2 weeks not once Overall very nice stay.   Great, speacious and modern rooms

  Holiday Inn - Villingen Summary: Holiday Inn Villingen-Schwenningen is a newly open, modern hotel with spacious rooms. Good value for money. Details: For a reasonable price you can stay in this hotel for your visit to Villingen Schwenningen. Rooms: -Rooms are big, comfortable and well equipped. -No Nespresso machine, mini bar empty, -desk, Sofa as extra bed available -Comfortable bed and linen. -Standard bathroom General Areas: -Small but cozy lobby -Free parking Location: -Close to Hospital -calm Food: -Breakfast: not used -Lunch: not used -Dinner: not used Staff: -Staff was friendly, responsive and helpful Negatives: -Cleanness of the hotel was poor. Hair in the bathroom, dirty room menu, dirty shirt of previous guest in the room. No compensation or gesture of apology from the hotel. The IHG Clean Promise sounds like a joke Thank you, Holiday Inn.

  Excellent 4* Holiday Inn in the Black Forest

  Only a 5 minute drive from the town centre, this is an excellent, modern Holiday Inn which has been designed to a very high standard and is typical of the newer hotels in this brand. We loved the open plan public areas with lots of different cosy corners to relax in. The rooms are all very new and seem to be the new Holiday Inn design which we were really impressed with. The hotel have done a fantastic job of maintaining excellent levels of cleanliness during this difficult time and we felt very comfortable with the hotel having implemented the IHG Clean Promise. Breakfast was one of the best experiences we have had since restrictions have come into place. No need to pre order and an extensive selection of food was available, all plated and served to you by a host. No compromise on quality or variety. Well done Holiday Inn! An excellent stay in the beautiful Black Forest part of Germany. Once again, the Holiday Inn brand has delivered a safe, reliable and good quality stay.

  Good location to explore Black Forest

  Good location to stay one night while driving around Black Forest towns. About 25 minutes or so from Triberg and 5 minutes from Villingen, another Black Forest town with a beautiful cathedral and a Franciscan monastery. We booked a rate with breakfast included and parking. Rooms are nice, there are usb outlets there which are useful if you are from another country. The restaurant is closed for dinner on weekends but they can serve pizzas and flag breads. That worked out for us with kids, as we didnt want to drive anywhere for dinner.

  Ever so friendly staff

  Made to feel very welcome from the I checked in until departure. The guys and girls here really were exceptionally friendly. Good gym, bar food was pretty good, beer was chilled and there was some nice areas to chill out with a night cap. I really enjoyed the breakfasts. However it got really busy with a lot of single travellers like me so best get down early if you wanted a table to yourself. Shortish walk into town but if you dont fancy it reception really helpful for arranging a taxi both ways. Loads of parking and great WiFi

  A++ Service. Definitely Recommend

  Excellent customer service Tanya from front desk helped me with multiple request. The restaurant meals were delicious. Room was very large, new and comfortable. Only 20 minutes from Black Forest and quick 10 minute drive to village main plaza. Highly recommend.

  It was nice

  The hotel was nice and the room was nice too, always happy to find a kettle to make a cuppa. It seemed the only language spoken was German, but we could get by in German, luckily. The day staff were always correct, but one evening after parking the car and asking the man at reception to validate our ticket, he was most put out, it was too much work for him, and there was no smile or friendliness, really not the right person to work at reception!! The cleaners were lovely, and did a great job in the room everyday, everything was as it should be. The breakfast was very good, a good selection, but I did wonder why the tea was hidden away around the corner away from everything else. I hadn't seen it and had to ask where it was.
