    Good stay

    The only complaint was there was a rubber band and piece of trash on the floor when we checked in, so it wasn't vacuumed as well as it should have been. The breakfast pickup system still had high touch points. You had to open the fridge to get yogurt and milk and the person in front of us literally touched every thing in the fridge to read the labels. It might be helpful to have an employee stand there in gloves to either serve or sanitize between guests. We did all checkin and checkout online with a digital key so we didn't interact with employees at all. Overall, it was a good stay, just COVID 19 related cleanliness might be revisited.

    Given wrong room, then lied to and told they didn't have the room we reserved in the hotel!

    We have been faithful Hilton Honors travelers. But this experience is causing us to change our mind. We booked the 1 King bed 1 bedroom suite because it was important to us to have the different bedroom so that I was able to sleep while the others were in the hotel room. Upon check-in we were given a totally different room with 2 queen beds, no king, no separate room nothing. We paid extra for the 1 bedroom suite. We returned to the desk and told the desk attendant we had be given the wrong room. I showed him the reservation I made online through Hilton. He proceeded to tell us they didn't have rooms like that and all of there rooms were single rooms and no different bedroom. I booked it online - it was an option. He then told me that I must have booked at the Homewood suites across the street. The reservation email clearly says Home2Suites. He argued with us and said we could take this room or have a King with a pullout couch but no divided bedroom because this hotel didn't have it. Then he said it will be the same cost! No way, when I booked online I looked at all options and went ahead with the expensive option for the reason of the room. He then said well if you can find a cheaper price online I can give that to you. So now after traveling they wanted me to find the cheaper rate for a room I don't want. Because we had some place to be in 15 minutes and needed to change my husband agreed to take the room. As we walked to our room housekeeping was in the room 2 doors down across the hall. The exact room we had booked!! That the desk attendant told us they didn't have such rooms. We went back to the desk attendant and asked again letting him know we saw the room. He then told us well they have 2 of those kind of rooms and one was booked and the other (the one we saw) was "out of service". We will not be back and I will not be booking with them for any of our travel teams weekends.(I am in charge of booking all rooms for 2 baseball teams) It is one thing if the room we booked had something wrong with it and were told up front and it was made good. But to lie to us and tell us we had the wrong hotel and then expect us to pay the price for a lesser room is beyond ridiculous. So very disappointed in Hilton and Home2Suites. Now as far as the room goes, it was ok. The bathroom was tight, not much room to move, the fire alarm was hanging out of the ceiling and my family was forced to leave the room so that I was able to rest with being disturbed.

    Service was poor

    I scheduled this hotel for the access to KC airport and the park and fly service. The shuttle was advertised as having 24 hr service. Upon checkin, the desk clerk said the shuttle stopped at 0930 and resumed at 6 pm because of Covid. I explained that I had only booked this hotel because of the 24 hour shuttle and what was I supposed to do? The clerk explained that she only worked there and this wasnt her fault. The clerk became very rude and kept telling me it wasnt her fault. She also kept telling me to stop yelling at her. I was not yelling. I kept telling her I needed to look at my flight times to see if her times would work. She was beyond rude. My husband finally had to tell her to just shut up so we could think. I ended up keeping the reservation. I will never stay at a Hilton hotel again. I am completely dissatisfied that their policies had changed and I recieved no notification of this.

    Awesome hotel in Kansas City

    Home2 Suites by Hilton Kansas City is located at KU Medical Center in Kansas City (Rosedale), where you'll be within a 5-minute drive of University of Kansas Medical Center and Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. This hotel is 2.5 mi (4 km) from Liberty Memorial and 3 mi (4.8 km) from Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art! Free Parking and Breakfast with stunning accommodations!

    Definitely recommend

    It was an awesome stay in a clean, modernistic and environmental friendly place. The room was clean and spacious with 2 very comfortable queen beds, dishwasher, decent size fridge instead of mini fridge, microwave and kitchen sink. The only minor dissatisfaction would be the bathroom was small due to the bigger space given to the whole room and the water pressure from the shower was not strong. They do serve to go breakfast which you can get on your own cereal packets, milk, fruits, juice and even individual wrapped omelette that you can heat up in the room. The pool is saline based and lukewarm..did wish it was warmer. Other than that...its definitely a place I would recommend to stay and in a safe location.
