  We stopped here on a journey from NC to TX. it was 3am when we rolled in. Bridgette was on front desk duty and took excellent care of us. Knowing that we were going to sleep for a few hours and hit the road, she gathered a breakfast bag for each of us. I would stay here again!

  Enjoyed our stay

  Great place to stay! Very clean! The restaurant next door(right in the parking lot) was amazing! Definitely will return. The rooms were cleaned and sealed with a Lysol sticker showing they had been cleaned and sanitized. The lobby was very clean. They offer a computer area, a swimming pool and a gym.

  Will definitely book this hotel again

  I am responsible for placing employees at hotels when tropical storms/hurricanes impact the Gulf of Mexico. Even in the best of circumstances, it's hectic when booking multiple rooms based on storm paths (which frequently change). I worked closely with the Director of Sales and she was terrific! She stayed in constant communication with me. She was proactive and delightful to work with. Our employees loved the hotel, the service, the location with many food outlets nearby and the in-room amenities. I look forward to working with this hotel and their staff in the future!

  Parking lot predators

  I wanted to love this hotel...the reviews I read before booking confirmed that the hotel is about a 15 minute drive from I-10 which is a bit far for an overnight rest stop but this hotel had great reviews. A big selling point was that people said the hotel is located in a safe area - this was very important to me because I was traveling alone with my dog and I would need a safe area to walk him around the hotel. The hotel itself is lovely and met my expectations. The park and shops across the street were very nice and appear new and I thought I had made the right choice, but two events occurred outside the hotel - in their parking lot - that made me wish I had chosen another hotel. 1. My dog was attacked by another dog in the parking lot. I am not sure if the owners were guests of the hotel, but they were hanging around the hotel in the early morning hours so I have to assume. 2. A man claiming to be a minister drove through their parking lot in the wrong direction to solicit me for money to fix a tire. Every single interaction I had in that parking lot was unpleasant. Including the drive up to the front doors to check-in. They have a narrow drive and a security vehicle was blocking my way when I arrived late in the evening to check-in. So my stay was plagued by two unsavory encounters with characters outside this hotel. Maybe it was just poor luck, but I question whether or not the area is in fact safe for overnight guests!? I leave 3 stars because of my personal experiences here, however, the hotel room was clean and quiet and breakfast was good although the selection is very limited (COVID-19 protocol). If you chose to stay here, be leery of your surroundings. The nice shops and businesses dont keep the riffraff away.

  Looking for the perfect hotel?Look no further. The location was exceptional and the service was excellent.Ask for Courtney, she made my stay remarkable from inquiry all the way to checkout. Her response time was impeccable and she ensured all of my requests were honored. Ill definitely be back!
