  Lo que se espera para un hotel en los suburbios

  Este hotel está a la mitad de la nada en Westbury, un suburbio al este de NY, en Long Island. Tuve que venir por trabajo y no me sorprendió para nada el estilo pues aunque es de Hilton, el nivel es igual que un Residence Inn, Holiday Inn express, etc...es decir, las habitaciones son sobrias, no te llevan el equipaje, no hay restaurante dentro del hotel, incluye un desayuno caliente poco variado. Para ese estándar, me pareció mucho pagar casi 200 usd.

  Nos encanta

  Las habitaciones muy buenas, hemos tenido experiencias de 1 y 2 habitaaciones y nos gustan mucho. La cocina un éxito total. El personal bilingue en la recepción muy atento y dispuesto a ayudar. Esta es nuestra segunda estadía en el hotel.

  Awesome!

  Property clean. From the front desk, to the staff that cleans the room, everyone made us feel welcomed and we will for sure stay at this property again. Indoor pool. Coffee and Beer available 24/7 was a great add on too!

  First night here of 3 and terrible start

  Check in went smooth, However we go out to get some take out. Check the room and no silverware but one knife. Call the from desk ask for silverware 10 minutes later someone comes up and bring spoons and knives in a bag left on the door handle. Yes no forks. Really is it necessary to explain that when requesting silverware that forks would be part of the package. So back to the phone where it rings endlessly only to be put on hold and then answered by someone who seemed to be troubled that I was even calling No apology just I will send up forks. Sorry to bother you. Dont worry I will not happen again not here at least. Plus wanted to bring a pet but the price was ridiculous compared to the competition and the ice machine on my floor broken

  Very disappointed

  I always stay at the home wood suites because they are always wonderful but the experience at this location was anything but. We asked for early check in which was given to us so thats why I gave it a few stars. We were just doing an overnight to have a mommys time out. The minute we walked in the room (400) was dingy and run down. There were no dishes or utensils dishwasher was full of them, dirty and hadnt been washed the food was caked on we tried running it three more times and nothing cleaned them clearly they had been in there dirty for some time. The room was just run down and seemed very lived in. Writing on walls with crayon, stains on the walls, huge leak in ceiling. And its not cheap to stay here. At $200 a night I expected more. We made a reservation for the pool at 4pm we werent allowed to enter til 4:15 bc the previous party wouldnt leave. Upon entering the pool area we discovered garbage from the previous party and the pool is not heated which we called to ask in advance and we were told it was. It was freezing cold we did not swim. After that experience we wanted coffee. Normally homewood has coffee out for guests even during covid. There was nothing, no coffee, water etc. we had to walk to 7-11. To top off our disappointing stay in the morning there was no breakfast. Just granola bars no water, no juice. There was frozen bagels and no butter. Only regular coffee no decaf. I have stayed at several hotels including home wood during covid and was offered a breakfast even if it was modified. This was just awful. I definitely do not recommend to stay here. We need a do over. I was looking forward to this mommy time out and it was not enjoyable at all! Check out the pictures.
