  A Nice Place but Housekeeping Staff need More Motivation!

  We stayed here for 3 nights just recently and enjoyed it for the most part. They offer a continental breakfast in the mornings that has waffles, cereal, eggs, bacon juice, scones, etc...as well as an evening reception that offers; beer, wine, salads, cheese & crackers, etc...They also have an indoor pool & hot tub. This is one of the areas where housekeeping must be tracked down as the towels get used up and it seems no one checks to see if they need to be replenished. Since we were staying for 3 nights, we had informed the front desk that only our towels would need replacing, as opposed to cleaning the entire room. They ended up cleaning the entire room the first day, which is not a problem but we were skipped completely on the 2nd day and had to go to the front desk and ask 3 separate times for clean towels before anyone brought them. The other issue we had was there were not any drinking glasses in the room until we found them in the dishwasher which none of the staff ever mentioned to us. You should also know that they are building an addition to the hotel and parking is limited until this is finished and you can't park at the businesses next door without risking having your vehicle towed.

  Sorry we stayed

  We checked in after having a prob. at our house. The clerck was great. The next morning I went down for coffee. Wrong. I was given a bag with a little container of yougart and a wood chip bar. No Jimmy Dean or anything to eat or with caffein. While talking to another guest he said they didn't even give them a small bottle of wine for the evening, nor a litle pizza for the microwave. When my key wouldn't open the back door the clerk was mad at me for telling her of the prob, but I told the Maintenence man and he he work for a long time to get it to work for all the quests. I expected a letter from management to explaine what we were going through these tuff times, nothig... That must be the reason things were so bad, management. Ater staying at a Home 2 in Bakersfiel ca two weeks before the biggest difference must be on site supervision. When our house passed the city enspection, we went to check out and the nasty girl said, "you missed check out so you pay full price for the night." When I asked for a copy of the bill she told me to come back the next day they only do the bills at night, and returned to the back room

  Overnight stay

  First time staying at Homewood Suites part of Hilton chain. Very nice clean place. They did great job social distancing and cleanliness in aftermath of CO-VID shut downs. They have afternoon social time with wine, beer and refreshments and snacks. They made up individual vegetable dip tray, pretzels etc. in morn take away bag with muffin water, yogurt or you could order hot breakfast night before to pick up in lobby. Spacious room with little kitchen and couch. Highly recommend.

  Warming: NO MASK enforcement

  Stay was average but the front desk said nothing about all the guests going in and out with no masks. Maybe this is the norm for the area but for a chain committed to cleanliness and a safe experience traveling during COVID this is unacceptable. Avoid this place until they improve.

  Can't trust that they won't cancel your reservation

  This was single handedly the worst hotel experience we've ever had anywhere and we travel a lot. Your hotel cancelled our third room reservation when we got their and said there were no other rooms available. We set this reservation a month ago and even when looking it up now it still says 3 room yet they said we only had 2 and tried to shift the blame to booking.com while booking.com still saw us having 3 rooms as well. The front line workers did apologize but showed little effort to help us. Then to too that off the pool was closed all weekend which was not made aware to us. We finally just left. If we can't trust a hotel to honor what our reservations say we will ensure not to stay their again.
