  The Best Hotel in Tallahassee

  This is the best Hotel in Tallahassee, by far! Great staff, cleanliness is a top priority in the rooms, and they offer a hot breakfast! They go beyond expectations to make sure I am happy every time I stay here. Tim and Ashley are always at the front desk, really great people! It is located about 10 minutes from the states Capitol, in a nice area! No complaints, as I will continue to stay here.

  Warm feeling like staying with family

  This hotel is recently updated. The housekeeping staff has been super effective with Covid cleaning, even the tv remotes have cleaning labels attached. Cindy and Tim ALWAYS know me when I stay even if I only pass the counter briefly. No hot breakfast on the weekends which kind of sucks but I can live. Ashley has been my favorite hotelier since we met at another Hilton property that she managed and handled a problem on her day off. This hotel gives me the warm feeling of family EVERY STAY EVERY TIME. Tim is constantly cleaning over night. Cindy ensures that any thing I need is handled promptly/.

  2 nights at the Homewood Suites

  We spent 2 nights at the Homewood Suites over Thanksgiving weekend, and had a great stay. It was nice to get away for a few days. For context, we were using Tallahassee as a base for (outdoor) sightseeing, exploring springs in the area as well as state parks, including Florida Caverns and Falling Waters - both about a 90 minute drive. In late November the weather was a bit cooler, which was nice and out on the road there was even a Florida version of fall foliage. So we actually didn't spend that much time at the hotel (which would have been the same situation before Covid) but chose Homewood Suites for the same reasons we would have at any other time: great in-room amenities, spaciousness, kitchen and a convenient location. As Hilton Diamond members we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite which was wonderful and a great place to come back to in the evening. From the Hilton Website there's a description of the steps they taking in cleaning which you would think would have done precovid. So other than the plexiglass in the lobby at the front desk and the sticker on the door letting you know that the room was clean- everything was as you would expect at Homewood Suites after housekeeping. If somehow there are new protocols for cleaning they should stay in effect (why go back to "less clean"). Ironically, there was one nice unexpected Covid related change (which should also remain afterwards as an option) - the grab and go breakfast. That was great. Got us out and on the road really early. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

  Nice staff, rooms are very comfortable.

  I've been staying here since August. (That should tell you something). My stays are 9 nights. 10 days working 4 days off. I work nights and sleep days. The hotel has been very accommodating with this schedule. The rooms are very clean and like a 1 bedroom apartment. The only downside to this place is that when you get off work at 4:00am parking spots are scarce. Great service and staff.

  Phenomenal Service at Homewood Suites Tallahassee

  Id like to send a huge THANK YOU to Tiara and Sally!!! I called the front desk at 8:55AM to find out when breakfast would end. To my surprise, Sally told me that it would end at 9AM...in 5 minutes!!! I woke my family up and ran downstairs. We arrived one minute late, and Tiara was cleaning up the station. Tiara then put down the broom and began serving my family of five. Sally then joined her and helped to prepare food for us. While we waited, three other families showed up, and they were served as well. Not only did Tiara and Sally go above and beyond their responsibilities, but they did so while also being very courteous and professional!! Their selfless and gracious acts reflect very well upon themselves and the Homewood Suites chain. They made our day!!!!
