  A Mixed Experience

  The Good: beds, tv channels, pool, Continental breakfast,quality beds, bedding and towels, receptionist 14/1/2021 and young female and male breakfast staff 14/1 and 15/1 and renovated bathrooms. The Average: shower pressure and wifi reception. No one at reception on arrival. The Ugly: We greeted the cleaners as we left for the day at 9am on Friday morning as they were cleaning Rm 13 or 14 next door. They didn't service our room at all. We left it really clean anyway but it would have been nice to have the kids beds made, towels and toiletries replaced, tea and coffee replaced etc. That we could live with but a large group with what seemed not many adults were given rooms either side of us on the Friday night. They didn't quieten down until around midnight. They were confused about the room numbers as we kept getting knocked at our door late at night which was a bit disconcerting and scary for my wife and kids. Not really the responsibility of the motel but this group needed to be grouped together or family rooms be together. I feel bad about this review because my previous experiences at this motel have been great.

  Not the Best of the west

  Mixed feelings about this motel although it didnt get off to a good start when I had to wait half an hour to check in as the door was locked the receptionist was out on her break and they obviously had no cover. I dont think this is the only motel cashing in on the COVID pandemic at the expense of the overworked employees. What I find interesting is the mini bar can be restocked daily as its at the patrons expense but the complimentary coffee and biscuits are not. I was booked in here for 4 nights and my room was not attended to once in that time which I find disgusting, and I fail to see how not cleaning is reducing the chance of the spread of germs! Again I think its businesses cashing in on the non existent crisis we have here in Western Australia. The positives about this place are the staff, they are all lovely and the emerald room serves a bit pricey but very good food. I would not choose to stay here if I had my choice of where is booked for me.

  Two night stay, very very clean, comfortable accommodation, very nice restaurant.

  Upgraded us to an apartment. Good value with nice breakfast. We had dinner at the restaurant on both nights. Good food, nice decor and excellent staff. Good location with a car. Close to all amenities and tourist sites. This is a country hotel. It is not a luxury 5 star resort however five stars for the service and quality. Would definately stay again.

  Cheerful and Friendly

  We recently had two one night stays at this hotel and on both occasions the staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was clean and tidy, the room reasonably large. Considering it was on a fairly busy road, outside noise inside the room was almost non existent, and the continental breakfast was good. would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Geraldton.

  Overnight stay on the way to Perth

  As always a friendly greeting from reception on our arrival. The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are clean and the Hotel has been quiet all the times we have stayed.The continental breakfast is always an added bonus in the room rate.
