  Extraordinary family hotel!!

  I visit this hotel every year since I was a baby. Every time it feels like coming home! Not only the Gerardi family makes you feel home, but the whole staff of the hotel!! Every time again I feel sad when I have to go home. The rooms are very clean, so is the hotel. The swimming pool with sauna and everything gives you the possibility to relax to the maximum after a day of ski! The restaurant is absolutely amazing... The chefs Vittorio and Mirco are very creative and their food is amazing: fresh and Italian! I cannot give any negative point about the hotel..

  A great family hotel in a great location

  The hotel has been run by the same family for more than a generation and relies on its excellent service to ensure many of the guests return year after year (including us). It is centrally located in the village and is close to the shops and ski lifts. The food is consistently excellent and they know how to throw a party to celebrate New Year! There is a small pool with a sauna and steam room which are great for relaxing at the end of the day. All in all this is an excellent place to stay with the family.

  A family run hotel with a dull room

  This is a smaller hotel located in the small community of Peio fonti near the Peio fontis bus stop but also near the Peio Tarlenta cablecar station with Peio 3000. Opposite the hotel was a small square where there was entertainment in the evenings. We were probably quite the wrong type of guests for this hotel. The hotel is aimed primarily at families with children and all other guests were Italian. At arrival were offered a Val di Sole Opportunity-Guest Card Trentino for 1 Euro per day and person of the reception staff. This was a very good offer which gave us free cable car and free return trip by bus and train to Trento. We had a very small room without a balcony and with a view of a roof. All windows were on the top of the wall so you got a feeling of living in a basement. It was bright but felt dark despite the bright walls. The furniture was old and there were no real seating in the room. The room had a small TV, a security box but no air conditioning. There was no kettle. As a Booking guest we got free wifi otherwise there is a charge for this. The walls were thin and you coud easily hear everything from the neighbouring room. The bathroom smelled sewage and was quite small. The shower cabin was microscopic, the smallest we have ever seen. The breakfast is served from 8:00 and was a simpler buffet. There were only light bread and a very limited selection of muesli on the other hand, many different cakes. The coffee was served at the table. We had half board and thus we also had dinner at the hotel. The owners themselves also seemed to have dinner in the dining room which was charming. The dinners were very good and the food seemed homemade and good. Sometimes it was a little difficult to communicate with the staff, as few were able to speak English well. Dinner was served from 19:30. The hotel also has its own bar which we did not try. There was also an indoor pool that we also did not utilize, it was open limited times. The dinners were charming but otherwise we were not that happy with the accommodation since the room was so bad.
