  The Greece that you don't expect - unique

  We stay at Avlakia Studios in Avlakia, Samos island in july for 10 days and we return there for the last week of august. Well, let's start: The studios: Very clean and big, fantastic big round balcony on the sea, double glass on the windows, air conditioning, park facilities, equipped kitchen and last but not least, a bathroom with a shower box. Most of them have a fantastic see view. The only little problem is that between the room and the sea there is a road, so in the morning it's a little bit noise if you sleep with open windows like us, otherwise I think it will be no problem at all. The Manager: The manager how runs this hotel is a special person, so is his mother and father. Costa, that's the name of the man, is a very very gentle and kind person. We really enjoy his company and his special humor. The location: Avlakia is on the north part of the island, very green and windy, so that you don't feel the hot of the sun, It's 3 km avay from Kokkari which is a famous location plenty of tavernas and bars. Avlakia is a very little village with very few houses, one little hotel, 2 tavernas, one little beautiful church and of course 2 beautiful beaches, one with trees on it. It's a very relaxing palce to stay and you will see a Greece that really you don't expect to find. Conclusion: If you want to discover a difference Greece, more real and genuine, than go to Samos island and in partcular to Avlakia. You can relax yourself in one the taverna, or on your balcony, drinking something and be mesmorized by the beauty of the see and the sky in the night. Franco and Maura

  Fantastic place! Right on the beach, crystal water. Big rooms and very very clean! gorgeous view from the balcony. The nearest minimarket is 3 km away, but taxi to Kokkari cost 8e. There is 4 restaurant in Avlakia. Quiet and peaceful place! I recommend!

  lovely location

  We have just come back from staying in these lovely located apartments on the ground floor. Found it very relaxing. Apartment very clean and nothing was too much trouble if you need anything. Woken up to a gorgeouse sunrise. Sea right outside large patio easy for an early morning dip. Family are great and made our stay very good, would love to go back one day. Restaurants are about 1 minute away

  I saw Avlakia Beach Studios & Apartments and fell in love with this beautiful place Style and comfort incredibly combined in this hotel, breathtaking view, owner and staff friendly and welcoming with a smile and a sincere welcome. Unforgettable experience !!! I'll be back there again !!!
