  Lovely find just off the road going to Patras

  Delightful family run hotel with beautiful garden and patio area. Great view of the pebbly beach and the sea. I would like to return when it was a bit warmer! Home made food was excellent and overall I really enjoyed staying overnight here. Recommended

  Very nice hotel and restaurant with the sea view!

  Wonderful hotel and restaurant! Room was very clean, we had a nice big balcony with a beautiful sea view. Our stay was special and memorable. Castella Beach is fortunate to have such a splendid staff and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you Spiros, Maria and Violeta!

  By the Sea but not a Beach Resort Hotel in April

  My wife and I stayed here for 1 night as part of a driving tour of Greece. The hotel is located outside of the town and took a bit of finding, due to Sat Nav issues and lack of wifi connection. The hotel only had 7 guests including ourselves, but were made to feel very welcome. The weather was chilly and a nice log fire in the restaurant/Sitting Area was greatly appreciated. The resyaurant food was good and plentiful and reasonably priced. We ate at lunchtime as well as in the evening. The breakfast, whilst stating it was continental, did include cooked eggs, with plenty of the ususal Greek breakfast items, together with an endless supply of coffee. Rooms were a little basic but much more than adequate for a 1 night stop. Even though the hotel is situated right on the beach, it woud not be somewhere I would recommend, if you intend t stay for more than a couple of nights, though for our purposes, it was ideal as good food, good bed and shower! The staff were friendly helpful and discreet.

  Abandoned place with famous "Greek hospitality"

  The hotel is placed in the middle of nowhere. No transport infrastructure, no shops, only 3 cafes to have a meal with a pretty same menus. Always the same poor breakfast. The service is very slow everywhere. Room service is pretty good, but you cannot order anything to your room. The sea is 10 meters away from the hotel and it's the best thing about it.

  Great lunch stop

  Stopped off here for lunch. Welcoming staff, delicious bread and tzatiki. My husband enjoyed his Moussaka, my son his hamburgers and I my grilled cheese. Service with a smile and lovely location overlooking the beach.
