  Excellent hotel, close to the slopes

  Good room, excellent food and service. Convenient for the slopes and the nearest ski hire. Very good ski storage with great access to the pistes. Situated at far end of the ski area. Comprehensive breakfast. Good choices on the plat de jour.

  January ski trip.

  Very pleasant hotel located a few minutes walk from a main chairlift ( quickest way is to jump on travellator to the left of ski shop when you come out of the boot room and cross the little bridge, then ski down the short distance, after riding chairlift this gets you to a point where you can ski down and across the main area to the paradiso gondola or gondola/ski to Ponte Delagano) Food is very good, salad buffet excellent. Rooms are simply furnished and very clean, lovely views of mountains to both front and rear of hotel. Good boot room and ski storage. Wellness area and Spa are of a very good standard. Staff are very helpful and attentive. From front of hotel, a short 10 minute walk down hill brings you to Adamello hotel ski bus stop, from here a bus departs at 8.45 and 9.45 to Marilleva, returning at 3.15 and 3.45. This bus is FREE and gets you to vast Campiglio ski area in 40 mins which is covered by passo tonale area pass for 1 day ( your pass will say 5 + 1 which means 5 days in Tonale and one day at a selection of other local areas, obviously you can still use the 6 day in Tonale area.)

  Poor value for money

  The hotel is conveniently located, being a short walk from the ski rental and the nearest lift. The food however was a major letdown. Breakfasts werent great and dinner was pretty poor with slow service. We were treated to two fixed menu specials, one Trento style and one Lombardy style, both had small portions and both took over two hours to serve, all the better to allow the punters to buy more drink.

  Good hotel, would return, minor improvements

  just got back from a weeks stay as a young couple. Overall we are very happy with the hotel and would return again. The hotel is one of the few 4* in the area, the majority are 3*. It's situated a very short walk to a main chair lift, with a blue run. To get to the busiest area and bars etc is a 10 minute walk, but if you plan ypir ski route you can just end jp there. The boot and ski room is good, spacious with a lift to the main level. I think the best thing about the hotel is the food, every night we were very satisfied with the quality of the food. Originally we were unsure on how we felt about a set menu but it was actually great, it makes you try things. Every night you get presented with a piece of paper, including 3 new starters and mains every day. Then there is always the same 4 startes and main 'From the kitchen' - we actually never chose this option as we were happy with the new choices everyday. Aswell as picking those you go up to the salad buffet before your starter, consisting of loads of veg and salad, some pizza onion rings but mainly fresh bread and salads. You can also have dessert, they usually just list of what they have which consisted of an assortment of cakes every night, chocolate,lemon,apple,pear etc. and they always had ice cream available too. 2 evenings we had a set menu. this consisted of 4 courses without the salad buffet. As my boyfriend can be quite fussy the waiter let him have the main from the kids menu on both nights so just a heads up that that could be an option if you really dont like whats on the menu. Breakfast was also good, the only comment I'd make is they have 1 hot dish everyday, this alternated with sausages one day and then scrambled egg and bacon the other. It was extremely clear that everyone wanted scrambled egg as it was always being refilled and the sausages never went. So one suggestion would be to have scrambled eggs everyday. The reception is quite modern and stylish, the rooms aren't on par with this interior which was expected from a ski resort. The rooms are still fine just standard, bed was comfy. As I've read on other review's the room does get warm but personally when it's minus15 outside I'd rather be too warm than too cold!! the door was a door and window in one which was quite clever. To improve the rooms you could have a proper curtain on the door as if you were ill or wanted to sleep in the day it was very bright. There was also 1 plug which the TV was in, we didn't watch any TV anyway but I was surprised at 1 plug. I also think the room could benefit from some more hooks around the door area as you have a lot more gear than you think. The only last gripe I have is the lights in the corridoors and boot room stairway need the sensors changing. I'm all for saving electricity by being on sensors but when you have to walk the whole length of the corridoor you get the light to come on it is extremely annoying (we were room 128). It was the same going downstairs to the boot room. Overall other than small improvements we were very happy with our stay, the view from our room was amazing, the spar(shop) is not even 5 minutes away and area felt really safe. The waiters were extremely friendly and had fairly good English and made the experience better. We didnt use the pool once as didnt bring any swimwear but you can see the indoor pool from the restaurant and it looked lovely, it's also got an outside pool.

  Not perfect

  I slept in the old part of the hotel in a very basic room. The problem was the heating sysytem which did not work which is a pain in the winter. Not that this was cold but at the limit. When I reprted it at the reception there was no answer, later the staff prentedned it never happened. There is an overall personnel problem at the hotel in the restaurant at beakfast (weak choice and ugly heated basic sausages), welenss that closes at 19.30 (sauna) and is quite crowded before everybody goes to eat. Hotels are people business so dear owner be careful with this, as the hotel and the place has a great potetnial. Will not return,
