  Very good location.

  A couple of us were on a road trip to a couple of motorbike rallies (in Italy and then Slovenia) and used a number of hotels for one-night stop-offs en route. We were primarily looking for cheap deals, ideally with some element of secure parking for our motorbikes. In-house food wasn't so important as we planned to visit local places, subject to time constraints. All of our bookings were made via www.Booking.com as they seem to have the best 'no deposit & late cancellation' arrangements. We could've done with more time to explore this location, however, for our one night stay this hotel was excellent. The room was everything we needed it to be, bar the wifi which only worked when down in reception. The parking was good/secure although it had to be paid for as an extra. This was the second most expensive hotel of our trip. The room was clean with a good en suite, well air-conditioned and the hotel had lifts to all floors. Take the time to go to the roof - it's worth it for the fantastic views over Grado. The breakfast (included in the room rate) was also good, plenty of choice etc. Very close by were a number of restaurants that looked popular and good value for money. The beaches we saw were 'fenced-off for certain hotels so not quite sure what the score is with beach/sea access.

  Clean, great service and excellent value for money.

  I found this small hotel by chance when I visited Grado to watch a sports tournament. I walked in and asked for a single room for 2 nights. The staff were all helpful, service very good, the single room small and clean. Breakfast was great. Excellent value for money and good location to explore the lovely area.

  A solid 3/5

  We just finished our 4 nights stay. I would say that the hotel is worth the 3 Star classification. The 3bed room was somehow larger than similar rooms in Italian 3 Star hotels, although it barely offered space to move. Breakfast very basic, no fried eggs or omelette. No fresh coffee or juices. The hotel does not offer sunbeds at the beach. You can book a daily package (2 sunbeds + 1 umbrella) for 16 Euro on weekdays and 18 Euro from Friday - Sunday. Yesterday there was no warm water from 9PM onwards. However the proximity to the sea (150-200m), the good price (280 Euro for 4 nights through FTI for 2 adults and 2 kids, parking fee 5 Euro per day, sunbeds 70 Euro) and the overall excellent atmosphere of the city of Grado lead us to the 3/5 appraisal.

  Cheap and clean

  This hotel is approximately 15-20 minutes off the centre. The rooms are clean and tidy and staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food was disappointing so we ate out mostly. So one point deducted for the location and one for the food.

  So, Room is sooo small. It's as big as a toilet for disabled, but it's clear. Staff are kind. Environment as Potmkin's village, or in Cernobyl, but U know, U are at the sea, so everything is forgiven.
