  Un sencillo muy buen hotel

  Es un hotel cuyo frente, de ladrillos rojos hacia la calle, recuerdan una fábrica que funcionaba ahí. La entrada, demasiado sencilla, no tiene relación con las habitaciones amplias, cómodas y con buen baño. Además el restaurant es excelente.

  Gem in Florence

  A hidden Gem in Florence we were traveling home from a trip to Florida and booked a Super 8 Hotel by Wyndham off 95 in Florence drove by the hotel and said no way...while tired and it was late we find this hidden gem ...not much further off 95 and with AAA discount cheaper! Its more upscale, comfortable, and clean and friendly!

  Really Dirty

  Stayed here and had a terrible experience. No covid protocols followed. Multiple staff members (including the person at the front desk) were not wearing masks. Plus, found this gem in the nightstand (see images). Those are not my fake eyelashes and that is not my change. The room temperature was set to 64 degrees on a chilly, early March evening. My poor daughter was freezing and it took a while to warm the room up to a normal temperature. I also uploaded pictures of the bathroom floor. It was disgusting! I mean, hair goo, who knows what else. After seeing the floors, I was scared to sleep in the bed! Would not recommend staying here.

  Decent place to stay in Florence

  We drive a lot between Tampa and DC and have tried different spots for a halfway overnight stay. Savannah is nice but not really halfway. Charleston is more at the halfway point, bur is an hour off the interstate. So on our last trip we tried Florence, which is a good halfway point and the downtown area is just a few miles off the interstate. Hotel Florence is a nice place to stay but not great. We found our room to be sparsely furnished. There was a bed and desk and chair, but no side table or extra chair or two. There was also no closet, which we found to be really odd. The room was also somewhat noisy. Our room overlooked a patio that was very noisy, there are noises from trains all the time, and the hvac unit hanging on the wall made a loud noise every time it blew out air. On the plus side the room seemed clean and we got a nice room service meal from Victor's restaurant in the hotel (although given the lack of a side table or second chair we were forced to eat on the bed). Despite the problems, this is a decent place to stay for a quick overnight stay. Better than staying in some nondescript place along the interstate. Florence is clearly trying to revitalize its small downtown and there are a few nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. In addition to Victor's, we also liked Town Hall.

  Don't Stay Anywhere Else...this is a #1 Hilton Hotel

  This hotel is awesome, like beyond awesome. I loved the room I had rm 101, it was awesome, just steps from the side door (I have a service dog, so awesome on quick potty times). It was a beautiful suite with shutters a great headboard and a cozy couch and the bathroom! Never had two sinks! Well sad part, on Friday morning, I had no hot water :( BUT, they came, tried to fix it, it didn't work. I had to do my remote teaching, and told them I was going to be online from 11-2pm....the maintenance man was laughing as a kid logged in to get credit, and didn't answer me at all. He goes...ma'am you seam nice, but I would be afraid of you if you called my mom...Giggles all around. Well I was moved to another beautiful suite. The best part is it had hardwood floors! And had a beautiful view of the main street! I did have some service dog issues at the restaurant, but that is not this hotel's fault, the restaurant is not part of Hilton, they are independent. But, highly recommend this quaint and perfect hotel, with an awesome manager and staff!
