  Better than expected.

  I expected the typical Japanese business hotel. It actually was better. Rooms were bigger and definitely more modern. We actually had a great view of the park and half the city. Bed was very comfy and no complaints about the bathroom. Not a 100% sure about the location...it's very near Goroyaku Park, which is quite "far" away from Mt.Hakodate...but you can get there with the tram in 20 minutes. It's one of the two places with hotels in Hakodate...and honestly not sure which one I would prefer. Probably doesn't matter too much. But a really good hotel, we had no troubles and would gladly stay again.

  Great amenities and attentive staff

  Clean and comfy rooms. Located near Goryokaku Tower/Park (10-15 minutes walk), and near Goryokaku-koen Mae city tram station, within minutes walk. Smiley and attentive staff. We opt not to have our rooms clean and the staff actually hang a bag of new amenities at our door knob, for us to change.

  Clean & Nice

  Reasonable size of bedroom They provide onsen in the hotel Good breakfast style (Totally Surprise with this) Close to Tram Bathroom are small but I think its an average Japanese Size They also provide free lotion at Front Office

  Cozy n rather spacious hotel

  From Nagoya, we landed at Hakodate and checked into this hotel after taking a local bus from airport. We were surprised by the rather spacious hotel room compared to the ones we stayed at Tokyo and Nagoya. Facilities were squeaking clean and bed was comfortable. It has all amenities nearby. We were even greeted with heavy snow fall. Breakfast spread was good n tasty, especially the Japanese food. My wife loved it. Very satisfied with hotel.

  Perfect Stay!

  Although Hokke Club is a chain in Japan, this particular location in Hakodate definitely exceeded the expectations of being a chain hotel. Rooms were large by Japanese standards and though the furniture was a bit dated, the onsen definitely was the highlight. Nothing beats soaking in a hot bath after a day spent outside in below freezing temperatures. The breakfast spread was surprisingly vast - it was comparable to any five-star hotel and was as delicious. Staff were friendly and pleasant, as expected from Japanese hospitality. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel next time I'm in Hakodate!
