  Clean, quiet, good breakfast, good location

  Stayed for 5 nights while visiting friends. Rooms are clean, tight on space, but quiet Breakfast good for coffee and food Staff friendly Walking distance to food and shops in Kronshagen section of town Short bus ride or cab to Kiel

  Service is really bad and the rooms are horrible!

  We have spent three days in this hotel . The first day we had a room where the shower was so dirty with a lot of fungus. The shower head was broken and you had to hold it by yourself. The doors of the shower where also broken and really need to be re decorated. This was handled by the hotel by giving us a new room. When we want to go out on a day around 11:00 am nobody was around anymore. We where the only people around. To me this is not a hotel, I do not know if a hotel is only to sleep but I expect some kind of service and also to buy a drink or get some food. The breakfast is fine, nothing special but good enough. The state that the hotel is in for now I do not recommend this to anyone because it isn't really cheap.

  Hotel Königstein Kiel by Tulip Inn

  We had a nice stay at the hotel, and we can recommend the hotel for your family and friends. The hotel is situated very close to Kiel in a village called Kronhagen.. This small village is also a very nice. We enjoyed our stay and maybe we will come back another time.

  Fabulous staff

  This hotel would have probably be scored a 2.5. However the staff was the most helpful of our whole trip. Caroline helped us extensively on taking the bus to Laboe and great dinner tips. Sara was thoughtful enough to contact us about leaving paperwork. The property was pretty far out there. It was old, outdated but mostly clean. When we were there it was super hot and they didnt have air:( I would think they would purchase a few fans to help out during a hot summer. A little updating and adding some curb appeal would go a long way.

  Calm base to explore the area

  This hotel has a restaurant but this is not always opened, however the quality is good for the small selection offered. Clean rooms, good service, good value hotel, private carpark, perfect for roadtrips as not all hotels in Kiel have carparks. Breakfast is inculded for all and pretty good, buffet style and they offer some services at your table.
