  A nice hotel that badly needs a few improvements.

  The hotel is located happily, just in the middle of the central promenade. The check-in is quick. The staff is OK. The house is old but quite renovated with soft carpets in the corridors that remove noise outside the room. There is a small lift to bring the suitcases up. Despite crowds outside the noise is not at all heard in the room due to the double layers windows protection. No bath, only shower. In the bathroom a few towel hooks and a shelf would come in handy. Found missing. We did not switch on TV in the room. The beds are too soft, the linen is too noisy when you turn in the bed, waking up the neighborough. The blankets are too hot for the summer time. All these resulted in our inability to sleep at nite. The breakfast was merely bad, with a very little choice. You get stale within 2 days. It was the worst breakfast we remember: untasty sausage, dab coffee from a machine. We were always running out of bread, butter, etc. and none among the service men there to help us herewith. We would choose the hotel again with a better bed quality and much improved breakfast. If not, we do not recommend La Bohemia, in spite of a very fortunate location of the romatic hotel.

  All in all - highly recommended

  Central located in the heart of Karlovy Vary. Everything looks new, is in very good conditions and is very clean. The hotel gives you the charm and atmosphere of the old glory days. It has a lift and a water dispenser in the lobby. The breakfast room is like a five star restaurant. One negative point - breakfast starts at 8.30 am only and you are later, they might run out of several things. All in all - highly recommended!

  Everything ok except the bed

  The location are perfect, and the hotel clean and has all amenities. Included breakfast, but the bed are my worst experience , I had my back pain because the bed uncomfortable, dent from the middle and took all my body down, stuff are good and friendly, the room is wide enough , but it is window has no view to the street , it is the best standard deluxe, but there is no view. I felt disappointed.

  Stay anywhere but here

  I had an absolutely horrendous time with this hotel. My experience from beginning to end was one of rude and unhelpful staff. The customer service was nowhere to be found and they are all in all a very unprofessional outfit. As a result of their poor service I was forced to move to the Savoy Westend Hotel which is impeccable, with clean rooms, excellent facilities and friendly staff. I would certainly recommend staying there (or anywhere else) instead of here.

  Excellent excellent excellent.

  I stayed there for 3 days in March 2024 and was pleasantly surprised about how good it was in every aspect. The room was big and clean and warm with balcony facing the main street in Karlovy. The breakfast was great. The bathroom was modern with instant hot water in the shower. There was cozy athmosphere and music in the breakfast room. This hotel is old but well maintained and good looking inside and out. The staff was friendly and check in and check out was fast and easy. There is plenty of hiking trails around Karlovy Vary. Just leave the hotel and in couple of minutes you are on those trails. The location is top and the value for money could not have been better. Probably my best stay ever anywhere in the world considering the price and I have travelled a lot and for over 40 years now.
