  Does the job

  Nice enough self catered apartment, free laundry service too. Location not that central but there are still plenty of local places to grab food. 15 mins from the local station by bus which is a flat fare for 190 yen per person. Reception staff are nice and friendly too.

  Great, budget hotel.

  Was very pleased with my recent stay at MyStays, Fukuoka. After researching various hotels, this was the best reviewed within my price range and I was not disappointed. The room was very comfortable and clean. The ensuite toilet was also very nice. We were provided with various free toiletries, clean towels daily, pyjamas, and a universal phone charger (which turned out to be very useful). During our stay we heard no noise from other rooms and were always greeted with a smile from staff. There's also a free coffee machine at reception. Overall, we have no complaints about MyStays Hotel and we would definitely stay again if we return to Fukuoka!

  Great Base for Fukuoka

  Its our first stop of 7 days trip in Kyushu Island. We booked through booking.com website as we thought the property will be a good base for us to spend the 2 straight days in Fukuoka. The hotel is in a fantastic city location walkable to both Canal City and Fukuoka Underground Mall. I found the room rather small and but then I think its acceptable in Japan. Toilet was spotless and has a bathtub which perfect for some hydrotherapy. There is some space for some light cooking, the hotel also offer portable cooker and dishing washing materials. They also have a free washing machine for hotel guest perfect for light traveller. After all, said and done, my stay was wonderful, joyous and pennyworth.

  Terrible hotel

  When I first went into the room, there were a lot of stuff there. I was embarrassed and immediately went back to lobby and told the staff. They just gave me another key and without accompany with me to the room. I was scared whole night afraid somebody like me to get the wrong key and enter into my room. Staff cant communicate in Simple English. Bad service! Breakfast only a limited choice.

  Great for a short family stay

  Rooms much larger than the usual Japanese size. Only ca. 15 min walk to Hakata Station. Even though the hotel's location is inside Tenjin night life district, very quite and clean place. Recommended for stay.
