  Hotel medio reformado que no es lo que parece

  Elegimos este hotel por su ubicación próximo a Dotombori. En la web de reservas ponía "inaugurado en 2015" lo cual es falso. Se trata de un hotel funcional, con las habitaciones reformadas , pero a medias. El baño es antiguo y ridículamente pequeño, es una especie de cabina antigua compacta de plástico , con una bañera pequeñísima en la que una persona que mida 1,78 no puede ducharse sin darse en la cabeza con el techo de la bañera.La moqueta a pesar de ser nueva, estaba llena de manchas . Las habitaciones son muy ruidosas , no están bien aisladas las ventanas ni las paredes. Sólo hay un ascensor , lo cual es un problemas por las mañanas especialmente. Un punto a favor es que el personal de recepción era muy amable y que el wifi, gratuito era muy rápido .

  Muy regulero

  El hotel en sí no está mal, la habitación era muy amplia para los estándares japoneses. El servicio amable y profesional aunque su inglés era bastante deficiente. Lo peor fue el desayuno, lo peor que he visto en años, peor que el peor hostel en que he estado y realmente he estado en antros. El desayuno consta de medio plátano, medio sándwich y un café y no pidas más. Fue el hotel más caro y el que más me decepcionó. Lo único bueno es que esta cerca de un super pa poder desayunar y cerca de dotomburi.

  NEVER AGAIN

  I've stayed in Mystay hotel in Kyoto and the experience was fantastic. Although there are some bad reviews about cleanness back in 2017 for this one in Osaka; considering the hotel manager's reply it seems to me that the management was trying hard to improve it so I decided to give it a chance. However I was wrong. Booked for 6 nights and only got told by front desk saying our stay plan is "with no house cleaning." ok...although I couldn't find any terms saying so on my booking confirmation. No big deal, I could manage. We stayed at 7th floor, and the floor outside of lift was very dirty during our whole stay. Seems no one had ever tried to clean it. Getting into the room, I was surprised to see a thick layer of dust accumulated at the entrance area corner. Also, the carpet was very dirty, the shower curtain was smelly, there's few hair left in the bathtub and some black stains of mold could be seen around the small bath tub. As it was late on the day and we try to get our young child ready for bed so we just clean up a bit by ourselves. With busy schedule every day, we were hoping the house cleaning service on day 4 would make a difference. However I was totally shocked coming back to my room finding out the mugs we used in the morning was not washed, the carpet was not vacuumed, the thick layer of dust was obviously untouched, and the quilt cover weren't changed! What sort of "house cleaning" is it although it's "free"? I did complain to the front desk staff that night but refuse them to send the cleaner in the next day morning as I was frustrated enough to believe it wouldn't make a difference. I wonder where the previous good comments "clean and comfortable" are coming from? As a frequent traveler to Japan I'd say it's WAY BELOW usual Japanese hotel cleanness standard and I will never ever recommend anyone to stay here neither myself.

  Quiet and Small

  The location is good, 5-7 mins walking distance from Metro/Underground station. The space is small as expected Japanese style. However, the people at the front desk are friendly and supportive. There is a supermarket (Yu-Chu) nearby.

  No next time

  I will never use this hotel again. Spend a little more and you can get much better choices. PROS Large room Lighting is good & bright Lots of electronic plugs Walking distance to subway (less than 10 mins) Convenient store and supermarket nearby CONS Washroom is way too small Dirty Breakfast is not tasty, hot food is not hot, too little choices Not too many restaurant or cafe nearby Distance to Dotonbori or Kuromon Market is embarrassing, over 15 mins walk
