  A Lovely Stay

  Leo and his wife run a lovely little hotel in a gorgeous area of Messina. My room was simple but clean, and afforded a gorgeous sea view. Service was exceptional, and the meals were outstanding. The staff was very helpful and warm. St. Alessio is a bit out of the way but well worth the visit; the same is true of Hotel Pagano.

  A Good and Comfortable Hotel

  We wanted a conveniently located place near the water and not in a larger city, and this was really that spot. The owner was gracious on our arrival and accommodating in showing us his rooms which were simple and comfortable with small balconies, one with a sea view and both facing a courtyard with palm trees. The hotel's rear entrance is across the street from the seawall and beach and a lovely walking promenade. The rates were very reasonable and the hotel was next door to a very good, modestly priced, outdoor seating restaurant (and, man, was the waitress patient with my friends who were incredibly indecisive to the point of annoying). And, for those that might find it appealing, the owner is passionate about beer, and his offerings are truly extensive.

  Excellence

  If you want a summer vacation at the see side, for you and your familly, this is the hotel to pick. It looks like everything in San Alessio is build around this hotel: the railway station is at the end of the little street in front, the bank, at the right, the beach just across the street, a restaurant two stepts on the right. The breakfast is included, the personnel friendly. Everything is spotless. In the pation, ther is a bar opened at night and made pitoresque by all kinds of plants and flowers. I vividly recommend it. Chairs and umbrellas free for the residents and a lifeguard to save you "from the blue and clear water".

  Fantastic hotel

  Very friendly and helpful owners. Quiet and peaceful location with a relaxing view. There is a private area at the beach for hotel guests. The breakfast is simple but the owners are always there offering omelette and different kinds of cheese. Great hotel bar with happy staff members and a beautiful view over the beach. Many restaurants are available around which offer a diversity of delicious Italian food. Free parking is available around the hotel. Real local experience away from the tourists is guaranteed. It is obvious that the owners have passion for their hotel and they care a lot about the satisfaction of their guests. Recommended.
