  Right next to the Golden Temple

  It's a great location. Right next to the Golden Temple. I wouldn't say it's great but acceptable. Breakfast was missed on first day. And we got an average breakfast the next day. For the price it's definitely worth the money.

  Good Room Service

  Staff is cooperative, but the rooms are not maintained properly. There is a peculiar stench in the rooms. The air conditioner of the rooms stops working in the middle of night. There are few advantages: budget stay + proximity to Golden Temple.

  Average but well intentioned

  Plus point is thier location, good staff, but need to work really hard to take things a notch higher. Am sure it will get there with loads of effort, which can be seen. Staff showed the intention to take care of thier guests - this is a very good sign. Areas of work, regularly dusting the place, training thier chef to be able to manage better variety of dishes, facilities like TV, showers, WiFi etc.....

  ok.. but in the end a big no no ...

  Plus points... extremely close to temple barely 4 mins walk.. rooms were satisfying .. day time we wer e not around only we wud reach at night .. barely used the room ... food was excellent cooked by owner herself ... not harsh on stomach .. lunch outside the hotel we had bad experince on 1st day itself .... so next day we started hvg good breakfast n have dinner in hotel ...hygenically made... lunch we avoided in amritsar during sightseeing ... staff was polite ... specially guys serving food minus points ... big no no for the hotel we found many guests fighting in the lobby ... we were big group first day we had bad experince with some local restaurant .. food ddnt suit any of us gave us some kind of different prob to all ... my little one vomitted on bed .. i had already cleaned ..only only had small stain ... small children do this many times ... they charged us 600 rs for cleaning .. that too very rudely .. there was certain snacks n tea charged in bill though we avoided argument and paid for it ... but it was rudely put to us ... which we ddnt like .. we hv always stayed in better standard hotels... they dont behave like this ... we stayed 5 days not one day staff came to change our towels or room service .... the day my child fell sick .. vomitted on bed ... hotel was wid out water for almost 10 hrs ... sumtimes u hv bad experience with good hotel too but we saw many guests fighting in lobby .. infact on of the guests who had 4 rooms left the hotel n changed to other .. they had scene for refund of money which hotel wanted to refuse .... hotel itsef is good but service and behavior not good ... at all even training will not help.. but since it was long trip we ddnt bother so much continued with our plans ... its a budget hotel but budget goes up ... since we use to get tired and with the lovely chilly weather we wud get excellent sleep ... amristsar trip we enjoyed ... no one bothered about the hotel so much ... on our way back we discussed our bad experience ...

  Nightmare come true. Accept booking and then dent check in

  My original OYO first booking that started my nightmare. Horrible. Booked room, called hotel, got confirmation. Reached hotel a few hours later around midnight and I was told that they have an air conditioning meltdown since morning, so no way that they will give me a room. Total scam, many have been ripped off by OYO similarly. Please beware and avoid OYO at all costs.
