  Lovely holiday in Saas Grund...Amazing hotel owners

  Stayed here two weeks ago for 4 days to recharge my batteries after some demanding weeks. The hotel is just a stone throw away from the ski lift and its a very clean hotel. The breakfast was abundantly varied, and all this were very fresh.....and the break they had was really finger-licking good, together with some cheese from the region. The strength of this hotel is the owners....they are such nice people and very friendly, and accommodating where possible. I have been to Saas Grund for the last 4 years and stayed in different hotels, and can say that I always enjoyed it, but this time round, I felt more welcome then before!!! Keep it up!!!

  Great location!

  My husband and I have stayed twice at this hotel and were really happy with both visits.Elsie,the owner,gave us a beautiful large room with 2 balconys and a stunning view of the mountains.She also gave us a free cable car pass for all buses and cables in the Saas valley,which was excellent value. There is a generous breakfast in the morniing.The hotel is perfectly located beside the cable car in Saas Grund. It is also really peaceful compared to Saas Fee,so the Hotel Primavera gives you the best of both worlds as it is only 5 minutes away by bus.Thank you Elsie-we'll definitely return!

  Good location, friendly staff

  Perfect location to discover the Saas-valley. (in summer, you get the Bürgerpass, so you travel for free on almost every skilift). Nice, big room and good breakfast. Zermatt is closeby and can be easily reached by public transport. You can find several restaurants nearby (we really like Roby)

  Really good value for the stay!

  Really good value for the stay! Rooms aren't new and shiny, but they were clean and cute. Water pressure was nice, shower hot. No wifi in the room, which sucked. (First rule for international travelers... Have good wifi!!)! Network was not good and had too many people on it! If you are pulling huge luggage from the train station, I would hire a taxi. While it is less than 3/4 a mile from the station, oh man it's got some legit uphill! Unless you're in pretty good shape, take a taxi! We didn't eat breakfast there and chose to save money by buying a morning pastry from a bakery in town! Would recommend for the price.

  Very nice

  We had a great week here. The owner & the lovely lady from Portugal really took care even though English is not well spoken. There are simple rooms on the first floor that share a bathroom but we were given nice large rooms on the 2nd floor. Mine had a tiny dark but efficient bathroom. A simple but plentiful breakfast is available. Tea/coffee in the common room. It is not cheap when you convert to Sterling but one has to remember that the Swiss Franc is double the value it was 10 years ago. I would definitely return. Very convenient location- bus & cable car, shops & restaurants as well as Tennis.
