  Excellent Hotel!!

  I stayed there for two nights and the owners were excellent host with a warm and friendly environment. The hotel was room was very accommodating and the hotel itself was well kept. The café served an excellent breakfast even though I was not used to Germany's style of breakfast, being from America. It was well worth the stay, even though it was located more in the country than the city, which served my travel needs.

  A Desperate stop

  What a lucky find stopped at this excellent hotel just as we were running out of hope of finding somewhere to stay. A welcoming host and a great little hotel with an excellent restaurant attached. Plus with the added bonus of a little spa and sauna in the basement for the use of by guests. This was much needed after a long drive up from Austria in the rain. We ate in the restaurant which served traditional German fare.

  Yet another nice stay

  I always use this hotel as a stop-over on the way to Austria for my annual ski trip. Once again not disappointed. Clean warm and just far enough (4 miles) from the motorway to be quiet and rural. Manageress remembered us and welcomed us warmly. Great restaurant too with local food.

  very acceptable hotel and restaurant!

  I stayed here for one night. The room was a pleasant room, double bed, a small desk area, a limited amount of hanging space, no tea or coffee facilities but there was an area for hotel guests to brew up and a small wellness centre. The ensuite shower room was fine with a perfectly adequate hairdryer and powerful working shower. The bed looked a little soft but was comfortable. I managed to find everything and then drifted along to the restaurant where I was given a table. The restaurant was busy, lots of young children and families. I ordered a half a litre of beer, which was dark, wet and delicious as I was distinctly thirsty. The meal that I ordered was a bit of a surprise. A clear soup with some noodles. Then a venison stew, which was rich and actually very good served with some red cabbage, which was acceptable and something like potato noodles, which was a foil for the sauce. I finished with an ice cream which I thought was accompanied by cherries, but ended up being raspberries. A carafe of white wine and the whole meal came to little more than 35. I would return!

  Nice family operated place

  Clean functional room. Friendly staff. Excellent value for the price. Half an hour north of Munich. Will visit again. Regretfully I've had no time to enjoy the breakfast buffet. Looked very appealing though.
