  Excellent good value hotel

  Just off the A1/E35 at the Sasso Marconi junction, this hotel was easy to find in the small village of Sasso Marconi. We used the hotel twice when travelling to & from Calabria & found it very good value for money & with friendly staff. The room had air conditioning, but the view from the window was a disappointment though, as it overlooked a waste water treatment plant!!! The restaurant served excellent food & the breakfast was also excellent. Best about the hotel - friendly staff & excellent value for money Least about the hotel - didn't find anything to complain about.

  Romantic Weekend

  It was a cold, wet night and the basic room was not very welcoming. It improved once the air conditioning warmed the room up. Bathroom was clean. Hotel is convenient for an overnight stay. Restaurant was very nice with a quirky waiter who was very friendly and spoke good English. Review may have been better if the weather had been better but first impressions were not good. Would only stay there again because of the waiter and the food.

  Comfortable

  On our way to Tuscany we had no plans of where to sleep for the night and came across this hotel . The welcome was friendly, the room clean, the bed comfortable. Breakfast was included for the 70 euro per night fee . The bathroom was of the kind where you could brush your teeth , wash your hair and use the toilet all at the same time if you chose to , my darling took one look at the shower and said "well there will be no hanky pankying in that shower tonight for anyone" ( he's a funny little man ) , So folks its not luxury, and thats not what you'll get , but its a decent nights sleep in a clean no frills place that won't leave you broken hearted over the experience . Would I stay here again , yes , just for a night I would.

  Return from moto gp Mugello

  Got the hotel through my sat nav . Arrived late . Just after 10pm . Made very welcome . Although there was no food available we had a couple of beers as it was rather late . The room was clean if not a little dated . But what the hey . At that price who cares . Breakfast was very good and satisfying . The staff was very friendly . Would use it again

  beautiful and friendly hotel in Sasso Marconi, Bologna Italy

  i stayed in this hotel for business. the rooms have a great view of the valley. it is a brilliant hotel in my book. it is run by a family, and i feel welcomed in the hotel. Great hotel, beautiful red house wine and brilliant food which i can not argue. absolutely beautiful hotel
