  Una habitación muy impresionante

  Me alojé tres días en el hotel Royal durante un viaje de negocios que realicé en marzo de 2007. El hotel no dispone de muchas instalaciones pero el tamaño de las habitaciones y los servicios compensan esto. La habitación en la que me alojé, que estaba en el piso séptimo (no fumadores), era muy grande. Los baños tenían ducha y bañera para uso independiente. Disponían de Internet gratuito y había muchos canales de televisión, aunque en su mayoría eran chinos, aunque el número de canales en inglés era bastante significativo. Me impresionó mucho el tamaño de la habitación por un precio tan bueno. El desayuno de la mañana estaba incluido en el precio de mi habitación. La comida era fresca y el servicio muy bueno. El personal del hotel hablaba un inglés muy aceptable aunque no era de lo mejor.

  Great Hotel!!

  We spent four days in this hotel and it was terrific. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The food was excellent. And the staff was very accommodating throughout the hotel. The one downside, if one can call it that, was the language barrier. They don't have a lot of English speakers on staff, so you are at moments blunted in your progress, but you eventually get the task at hand taken care of. Near to a play center (great ferris wheel) and outdoor park with trails, ponds and rides for children. They are also quite near to city center. Walking would take too much time, but it's a short taxi ride. And there are enough good restaurants to keep one busy into perpetuity.

  Business on a budget

  Stayed here on business for 4 nights in Oct 2017. As other reviewers have mentioned, this was probably a high class hotel 30 years or so ago but is now a little old and tired, and in need of modernisation. On the positive side staff are very helpful even though many of them dont speak much English. Rooms are a good size and the bathrooms are better than many similar hotels (excellent shower). The location is excellent for shopping and restaurants, and was very close to my meeting locations. However, there are a few too many negatives for me here. Firstly the bed was extremely hard - the hardest Ive ever come across in all my years of travelling. I didnt sleep comfortably for my entire stay. At weekends the club on the third floor is quite loud and music continues until 2am - I could hear it quite clearly on the 6th floor. I was also quite disappointed in the breakfast which was poor with little choice of food compared western hotel chains. The breakfast room is ultra-modern and does not fit in with the rest of the hotel strangely! Overall this hotel caters mainly to Chinese businesspeople on a budget. I would stay at the Marriott or Sheraton in future which are very close by, but for budget-conscious business travellers its worth a look.

  not good to stay

  staff not speak any English , reception manager didn't want to give us later check out until 3 pm only until 02pm even the hotel was not buses , they write in the confirmation the breakfast include when i check in only breakfast for one person not two ,

  Average Hotel

  Price is average. Service is average. Location average. Room is average. The hotel was located in Tianhe area which is the most expensive area in guanzhou. altothe hotel a bit old but still quite comfortable. Overall it was still a nice hotel to stay.
