  The endless Muzak prevents 5 Stars

  The hotel is out of the centre but its location offers splendid views of the town. The rooms are well kept and spacious. The mini-bar offers a range of refreshment options - not unreasonable prices. Free WiFi keeps you entertained and connected. The hotel uses Ubiquiti devices to provide coverage should there be any geeks reading. I didnt find any dead spots. I arrived too late to take advantage of the laundering service, but the staff were happy to lend me an iron and ironing board. The restaurant offers spectacular views. Not a place to dine alone as the combination of view, lighting and soft music makes it a romantic setting. I can recommend the lamb, the fish soup and a steak with chilli sauce. Typical prices seem to be around 20 per dish. The steaks vary depending on size. Room service is available should the restaurant not be your thing. The staff are friendly and helpful - creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. My only gripe is that the soft music in the hall never seems to stop - so my sleep was disturbed as a result. Otherwise this would have been a 5 Star experience.

  A comfortable stay

  I have just completed three nights at the Zlaty Klucik. My room was a good size and very comfortable, particularly the bed. Service was very good - all the staff I met were friendly and professional. I didnt use any of the spa facilities. The hotel is 2km from the town centre of Nitra - the walk into town is easy enough (all downhill) but I would recommend taking a taxi back (the hotel reception can arrange).

  Perfect hotel and people

  The best hotel in Nitra with great food and services. We plan again stay in september 2019. Half a hour from Nitra is wellnes Podhajska it is good bathing for people with some healthy problems. The hotel Zlaty Klucik I can recomend to all people.

  Top hotel

  Two night stay with extended family. Five-star quality throughout from the rooms/beds/bathrooms, to the wellness/spa area, to the breakfast (fab!!!), to dinner which we had there one night as part of the package. Easily the best hotel I've stayed at in Slovakia. It is out of town a little, up in the hills overlooking the city, but that makes the views fantastic and it's only a 25 min walk / 7 min taxi ride up and down as needed depending on your exercise/fitness level.

  Excellent food, lovely place staff lacks training

  The best food we had in Slovakia and the most beautiful hotel in Nitra. The staff seems however very young and untrained, in restaurant service and in general. Because of this, our stay did not run as smoothly as it could have. We did not always get the correct information and the coordination could have been better. Also, there are no single rooms, which makes it a lot more expensive for a person traveling alone, as you also pay for 2 breakfasts.
