    Quiet,Clean & Close

The property has adjoining Casino with multiple places to eat. The room was excellent. It was very clean, large, quiet and very close to Arch. The staff was Attentive and Responsive. The reviews are nothing like I experienced. Will go back

Do Not Stay At This Hotel

This hotel is very unprofessional, especially the so called security guard named Brian. There was a situation that he was supposed to be handling and is interactions with people are rude and down right ignorant. I will be reporting this hotel for all of the violations that occurred at this hotel. If you want to stay somewhere safe with your family, definitely Do Not come to this hotel.

    Weed friendly?

Very disappointed in this trip. I could smell Marijuana smoke almost the entire time we were there. This was odd because the hotel seems to have a robust security presence. In the evenings there were 4 or 5 of them standing in the same area looking very tacticool. Not sure what they do but the sure look the part. The dank smell was talked about by many families throughout the weekend as there was a sports tournament going on at the convention center. Lots of teen age girls saying my hotel smells like weed, LOL. Check in took 30 mins with 2 people ahead of us. It was mildly amusing to watch the door to office be opened dozens of times with three other staff - but only one was working. Try buying a soda at the front desk. 10 minute wait. They general attitude at the front desk is you know you are bothering me, right? The casino area is filled with smoke but I wont hold that against them because almost all of them are. The smell does carry in to the hotel though. If you want take out from The Wok you can easily get in the to go line - and then wait 40 minutes. One elevator was broken so wait times were longer. Not the end of the world as it does happen and it was for safety reasons. The rooms are large - like a suite set up and the open area in the middle of the hotel was large and open and was nice for hanging out in the evening. Just be prepared for their paramilitary crew standing around all kitted up. Those are The only real positives I can say. Do not ask for a late check out on the weekends. I knew it was a reach when I asked, but I was advised that there was a 0% chance of late check outs on the weekends because we dont offer that. I was good with it the weather was very nice and just spent a few hours at the Arch which was a short 10 minute walk away. The area can be a little sketchy so just be aware. It would seem they are aware given the amount of money they spend on security. If you smoke weed and dont want any issues this might be your place. All in all, there is 0% chance that I will return here.

Honest Hotel Lumiere review March 2024

We were in town for the volleyball tournament and this hotel is where our team stayed. Rooms were clean and the hotel looked clean but maybe a little dated. This hotel is nothing special, probably the only thing going for it is the fact you can walk to the casino. If you are going to the Horeshoe stay at Four Seasons. I was comped my stay here and I still find it hard to say anything nice. If you read reviews for several months ago, you will see that only one elevator out of 4 works, and you have to walk all the way thru the hotel to get to it in the back. It is still that way now. A gentleman on the elevator stated that he was here 6 months ago, and it was the same then. They charge you a 19.99 daily fee but if it is for the WIFI you will not be able to use it. We were on the 7th floor, when I went down to the desk to ask about why I couldn't access WIFI was told "there are so many people here and you are on the 7th floor so you won't get it. You may get it if you come downstairs." My son in law had to use his own hotspot to get internet access because he had a few things he needed to get done that day. He was on the 2nd floor so lower didn't help him with WIFI. We didn't have our room cleaned our few days here so daily fee? Beware the front desk, asked a young man about directions in ST. Louis since this was my first time there, his comment" "I don't drive so I don't have a clue". The ladies working at the front are really short with you, not sure how they were selected to deal with people since they just seemed rude. Had to deal with them when we needed something from the convience area next to the front desk. Son in law stated he had the same issue with one of the ladies too after we talked about it. As I said, my room was free except for the daily fee but I feel I need to warn you before you stay here. I don't normally write reviews but here I am. Ask yourself, if they can't fix the elevator what else has been neglected at this hotel? There are several nice hotels close to this casino, St. Louis is easy to walk in, so You have been warned, YOU STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Only tolerable because it was free

I booked a room for 2 nights for Spring Break for me and my son. the location is super convenient with free parking. However it is adjacent to a super bad neighborhood and we did not feel comfortable venturing out after dark. The lobby is the nicest part of the hotel; it's all downhill from there. Everything is slightly dirty- corners and edges of carpets not cleaned. Linens smelled funny. Only 1 functioning elevator-that I was told by other guests has been broken for ages. Hotel sites list a pool - there is none, it's broken and out of commission. There is a bar in the lobby that never opened, and when I called down to ask if it would, was just told no, it's closed. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers were empty. was promised an arch view room at booking, didn't have one available upon arrival. Listen to the other reviews of this hotel on this and other sites. Its pretty dumpy. Had I not gotten the room for free with my Caesars rewards, I would have demanded a refund.

    Awful Service.

This hotel has the worst service I have ever experienced. The basic hotel is good, the rooms ok but the service is just awful. Most of the phones dont work to call to the front desk. When you do talk with the front desk, they dont help you with anything. The elevators dont work which is a mess.

    Worst hotel experience

I am 61 years old and well traveled and this is the worst hotel I have stayed in. Run down, dingy, smelly. No soap or shampoo in shower. Front desk was not helpful. Please find another place to stay. I should have done some research before I booked this hotel
