woken up at 7 am by the noise of the hotels own repair worksThe hotel started a renovation of wellness facilities and the constraction of conference rooms that is due to last at least till end of this year minimum. We were woken up at 7am in the morning by the noise of drilling and flexing while we were trying to have a relaxed holiday there. Please note, we only recieved an email beforehand that we will not be able to use the wellness facilities, never thought that they are as stupid as making their own guests stay a nightmare. So we went down at 7am to the receptionist to ask for any room on the other side of the building, she said she cant change the room, even without checking the availability in the system. We explained that despite that we paid higher fee for a superior room - which was without airconditional and consisted of a very small room and a balcony- she cant help us. Overall the hotel is very old fashioned, neither service nor customer oriented and the workers there are pretentious, lacking any feeling of responsibility. I have travelled enough countries to say this hotel is a disaster.

Ex-communist hotel trying to keep up with the trendsBecause of its heritage the hotel has a good location, nice view from the upper floors, but small rooms and bathrooms, old furniture and carpets, thin walls, no extra facilities. The thin walls and doors won!t let you have a good sleep you can hear your 3-4 neighbors activities, plus there are some reparation works starting at 8 or 8.30. The staff is friendly, location is fine but until the place us upgraded to a standard hotel will not be a good stay.

Choose Another Alternative if PossibleEnded up in this hotel b/c it was part of our trip to Romania through Trip2Ro. Very basic and clean accommodation. The beds: I felt the mattress coils in my back and legs. The bed squeaked every time I turned or moved.Total Discomfort at its best. Breakfast: very little choice. Pasta with sour cream sauce, some cheese, bread, and few choices of cold cuts. There was very little to choose from and small quantities to choose from. Cannot recommend to travellers and would never return to Hotel Fenyo.

Decent, but too expensive for what it offersThe price is too high for what it offers. The clean, beautiful rooms offer the strict necessary within decent limits, nothing spectacular. Small TV, as small as a monitor. The bath - two small sachets of shower gel / shampoo and two small soaps, the tub has no stopper, so you can't bathe, and the shower is a whole adventure because the water has no pressure and ranges from cold to hot. The curtain covers half the length of the bathtub and is secured by a pipe supported only in the walls, which falls immediately if you try to pull the curtain. Very friendly staff, both at the reception and at the restaurant. Satisfactory breakfast. Conclusion - I went to two-star hotels with half the price paid here and I benefited from more facilities. Clean, decent, but too expensive.

Just feel like home!We usually go there for lunch and we enjoy it,because they know how to make you feel comfortable .We have our favourite dishes and one of them is camembert with almonds and blueberries sauce.I definitely recommend it and for sure you won't get disappointed.Don't forget to try the traditional food!
