  Beautiful, friendly snow lodge

  We always enjoy visiting Incline Village and staying at High Sierra Lodge. The accommodations are beautiful and the staff is extremely friendly. Our family enjoys skiing during the day and visiting local restaurants in the evening. The staff is always helpful and makes wonderful recommendations specific to our family's needs.

  Another heavenly visit to the Hyatt High Sierra Lodge

  During this time of Covid, was concerned over whether we could use our week at Incline. Hyatt staff contacted me a week or two before and explained to met the steps they are making to keep us safe and what would be open during our stay. We had a wonderful time. Staff was great. Our unit was beautiful as usual. Played mini-golf in Kings Beach. Thursday when the Hyatt Regency opened left our $20 bills at the casino. Friday after golf at the golf course in Kings Beach(home of the original Crosby) and lunch after on the Lone Eagle Patio watching the private beach and wharf action. What a bargain this ownership has been!

  Best Family Vacation

  We are new Hyatt owners in Sedona but decided to do a last minute trip to Tahoe for skiing. We are a family of six, so the two bedrooms were perfect for everyone to have a little space. The shuttle to the ski resort was great and timely. We appreciated not having to worry about parking and loading up six sets of skis into one rental car. The heated pool and hot tub were great after a day on the slopes. I appreciated that the resort offers a slow cooker. Coming home after a day of skiing to a pot of chili or beef stew was great and super easy. The kids really enjoyed the clubhouse with the pool table and board games. Our family is lucky to travel several times a year and I can honestly say this was one of our best trips. We had good quality family time in the clubhouse playing games, a variety of outdoor activities nearby to please everyone and plenty of space in the suite to relax after a long day. We loved it so much we are buying one!

  Great stay

  Staff was very friendly from check-in to the grounds crew. Room was great for our family of 6 and well appointed for cooking our meals. Everything was super clean and well stocked so we did not need to ask for extra towels during our week long stay. Our ground floor room was excellent for sitting on the patio and kids having more room to roam if needed. Complaints: our unit had a washer/dryer combo (all in one) and it took 6 hours from start to finish. Staff did not know how to use the machine when asked. We also had a rough few nights with the television noise coming from the unit upstairs near our king bedroom area. The extra speakers are great but carried the base through the floor keeping us up well after midnight with the thumping etc.

  Overpriced resort/minimal amenties/great area of N Lake Tahoe

  Lake Tahoe was beautiful, hence it made our stay worth it. For what the resort is priced at, totally NOT worth it. We had a late flight arrival- due to this we called in the day before to inform them and to confirm our reservation. They confirmed our reservation and also advised to downlod the app and check-in via the app- which was done also. The app even assigns you the room number. Upon arrival around 10:30pm, what we thought was going to be smooth check-in was the total opposite. The deskclerk did not see the assigned room and also would not inform us if they accidentally rented our room away. They blamed it on a glitch in the system- but someone confirmed our room the day before. They attempted to downgrade our room stating that was the only thing available and they would deduct the upgrade fee. We were in Tahoe for our anniversary and specifically wanted a nicer room with a good view. 20minutes into checking in, the clerk kept going back and forth to the managers office to see what she could do. Spontaneously a room appeared and stated that the room had to be examined aka the room wasnt cleaned yet. It didnt make us feel comfortable that they were rushing the process and knowing that everything most likely was not disinfected. We were NOT informed at check-in that daily service is upon request only. So when we came back to our room after a long day, the room was as is. We contacted the housekeeping dept and the guy asked us to leave the room. We left and all he did was put a stack of towels on our tv stand and took the old towels. Thats it! Our shower leaked and causing our whole bathroom floor to be wet- nothing was cleaned. We at this point got skeptical if they gave us a room that was out of order. The casino staff- unfriendly. There is only one cocktail waitress coming around every 30mins- who was blatantly so rude to another guest sitting next to us. The only positive about this property was the pool deck - it felt amazing and concierge dept was very helpful with recommendations and things to do around town. They dropped us off to trail entries and picked us back up. Very kind people! The complimentary smores around the fireplace was a very cute touch to the stay. The town is amazing and all the restaurants/shops around the area were great.
