  Nice and quiet stay in spatious appartment

  Stayed 8 nights with family 2 adults, 2 kids (13 & 16) at Il Moro. Top floor appartment was very spatious and suited us perfect a base for exploring surprising and beautiful Umbria. Price - quality ratio absolutely superb without being a budget location. The pool is very nice and clean. Absolutely wonderful and neccesary to cool down in after a morning and early afternoon of driving. Roberto is a good host, providing drinks at the pool, during breakfast and evenings. Always available for advice. We will be happy to return when we visit this part of Italy again.

  A fabulous peaceful retreat

  We have just left Il Moro after a week long holiday and I wish we could have stayed longer. A few miles from Perugia, in the hills of Umbria, this is a fantastic place for a family holiday. It's within easy reach of Assisi, Gubbio, Citta di Castello etc, although, if you don't feel like sight seeing, it's wonderful just to relax by the pool in the shade. Our apartment, on the top floor, was spacious and comfortable - but not so smart that the children couldn't run about and enjoy themselves. We ate in the restaurant 3 times during the week and the menu is limited but I can't rate the food highly enough. The antipasto in particular is incredibly generous as well as delicious. Thank you Roberto and family for a wonderful week.

  Midsummer in Perugia

  Cozy hotel with nice staff and wonderful view. Well equipped kitchen, lots of space, but no air conditioning. Good size pool with enough sunchairs. Dinner was simple but delicious, breakfast was nice, great coffee and those croissants!

  Nice & friendly visit

  Very nice place to stay with family. Well equipped & spacious rooms. Good atmosphere in general. We had also delicious family dinner in the garden. Thanks to our host for making our short stay special.

  Wow

  My family and I stayed here as we had a wedding to attend around 30mins drive away. We had 1 studio and 1 2 bed cottage,these both exceeded expectations,rustic and homely with all the amenities on hand including a fan. The pool area was well maintained with a refreshing temperature, plenty of loungers and umbrellas to stay in the shade if you wish. Breakfast was beautiful, continental, home made where possible. The dinner was simply amazing fresh local produce plenty of starters and antipasti, full dinner plates and yummy home made puddings, the local wine from the vineyard nearby went down a treat. Roberto and Beatrice were extremely welcoming and helpful, nothing was 2 much to ask. This was our first time in italy it has lived up to all expectations. We will be back in the near future.
