  A great place to stay in the centre of Assisi

  We didn't have a car so needed a place close to the bus station. The apartments were about 100metres away but it was very quiet due to restricted tarffic access. We stayed for 10days and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The apartment was was very clean, had everything we needed. The family running the apartments were extremely friendly and helpful. This was an excellent base to explore the surrounding towns. We found Perugia very big and noisy and were glad we chose to stay in Assisi. They also had free WiFi so we could surf in the evenings for things to do.

  absolutely unique and incredibly friendly

  My have stayed in Il Turrione with kids during Callendimaggio festival. It is just a perfect place for a family stay: comfy and spotless apartment, nice garden with sitting area, next to the centre, but extremely quite. The bus stop is nearby. The apartment is decorated in traditional rustic style, with personal touch. The bed in the bedroom is big, there are extra blankets, bed sheets, towels... Everything is clean, feels modern and fresh, however the place keeps its antique caracter. Perfect combitation then. There is one thing that makes this place so unique: friendly and helpful owner taking care of smallest details and your needs with generosity and smile. On arrival we got a bottle of excellent olive oil from owner's olive grove and coffee for morning breakfast. A lot of maps and information about neighborhood were available as well. We could not be more happy with accomodation. Francesca, grazie mille per la vacanza perfetta!

  nice and quiet

  Very good appartment and placed in the old part of Assissi,, Kind people (just italin language) and possible to park! We can just recommend that place,, its fine and good..and the persons (family) ownwes of the place was very helpfull to everyhting,, We stay there again next time . But it's not a Hotel ,.

  Assisi in september 2014

  If you want to stay inside the walls of Assisi, walking distance to everything in the town, and parc the car Close too the door and have a garden to sit and relax in, then this place is the perfect match. Italians does not know much English, but this host knows enought to explain everything we needed. And her mother proved that not knowing any english word is not much of a problem when you have a god smile and a warm heart. The host gave som very good advice as to what was the most important Places to see. Friendly at eager to help.

  Excellent location with a lovely view of the garden

  This is a spacious apartment within easy walking distance from Piazza Matteoto bus station, the end of the line coming up from the train station. It is an easy, flat walk. The apartment is well equipped but Apt. 4 only has the front door (no fly wire) and ceiling windows which open electronically a small distance, and close automatically when it rains. Hence, the rooms can get quite hot through the late afternoon. Our host only spoke Italian and another guest assisted with translation. Francesca (daughter in law) usually takes the bookings and speaks excellent English. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a washing machine. There is a beautiful lawn area with table and chairs and outdoor lounges for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our walking shoes were in great demand as most things from the apartment were at a lower level!
