  Romantic spot

  This hotel was absolutely great. Rooms are very spacious and the views are amazing. Theres even a view of the water in the bedroom. This isnt a 4 star hotel, but it was clean and the staff were friendly. We did not have the complimentary breakfast and you will have to drive at least 20 minutes for a decent restaurant. The area is very low key and the closest beach is about 20 minutes away. The restaurant, Ruddy Duck, right beside the hotel was absolutely delicious. If youre looking for a relaxing few days away in peace and quiet, this hotel is perfect.

  Great experience

  We came for a quick visit, and really enjoyed our experience. Clean, safe, and comfortable. We had to leave early, and was shocked to see that they didn't charge us for the night. Really pretty area. Would absolutely come back.

  Ick- dirty and noisy

  Yuck. Stay away in the time of COVID. Our friends found a dirty mask on the floor of their room. Our room did not have toilet paper and it obviously had not been vacuumed. Ashes and cigarette butts on the deck. It is right next to a restaurant that has pretty good food, but even though it closes at 8:30, there were noisy crowds on a Saturday night up until midnight. It is on the main road to St George Island and although you would think this little far away place would not have car traffic it did. Ask for a room facing the St Marys River. One of my two worst stays in a hotel ever.

  Great views but shabby hotel

  I had a discount for this hotel and I got what I paid for. It was not very well kept up property, unfortunately. Aside from the usual challenges that come with being a water front property (dampness, sea air salt rusting things), there was dust that had long piled up at the edges of the headboard, and old spilled coffee stain, and the phone itself was yellowed and nonfunctional. The furniture was a mix of older and newer pieces and the TV was too small for the space. The kitchenette was well done, newer counters, clean and working fridge. I really wanted to like this place but it really needs some cosmetic rehab. The staff were very friendly and accommodating despite the challenges.

  Beautiful views, but...

  We booked this looking forward to a quiet weekend. The views are gorgeous. However, the rest of the hotel left much to be desired. The room looked nice at first, but there were many crumbs on the floor and the sheets were stained (hopefully with rust?). There was some trash left on the balcony from previous guests. Luckily we weren't counting on Wifi; the signal was spotty at best and rarely connected for long. Don't plan on streaming any movies in the evening. This location has so much potential and has such great views, but overall I don't think we'd stay again.
