  ABSYMAL AVOID AT ALL COSTS

  OK I am NOT the most fussy traveller. Is a restful, peaceful nights sleep, having your bed made, a comfortable room, too much to ask for ? None of which was on offering here. Instead I was serenaded by motor vehicle engines, punctuated by horns, pigeons cooing audible outside my window which were closed, all set off with the ambiance of the delicate odour of exhaust fumes. Oh and the noisey neighbours both inside and out were delightful aesthetic touch. Another feature of the hotel is the struggle with keys you have which you must put into the locks. In summation - YOU COULDNT PAY ME TO RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE !!

  Business

  I stay here quite often on business. Nice hotel, clean rooms and fab restaurant! Only reason I don't rate 5 is because during warmer months, it is impossible to sleep. It gets so hot in the rooms and there is no aircon. They do provide some fans but they don't do much

  Excellent hotel in a convenient location

  I stayed here on business for four nights. I had a single room booked but got a large room with two singles, separate ante room and well appointed and modern bathroom. The hotel is on the edge of the city center opposite the main railway station (100m) and convenient for motorway links. The staff were friendly and helpful with a good standard of English (better than my German which is quite rusty!) The attached restaurant is excellent! I ate there every night and did not have a meal that was less than outstanding. Breakfast is standard European although if you get there too late you risk a reduced choice. The wifi is readily accessible and reliable (good enough to Skype at peak time). I travel to Wesel for business several times a year and will be staying here again.

  Rooms getting dated.

  We stayed here overnight passing through Wesel. The restaurant was very good for dinner but breakfast was disappointing. There was no fresh fruit when we had been having strawberries, peaches, apricots, nectarines etc in other hotels. Canned fruit is not really acceptable in mid-range hotels! Our room was very tired. Could definitely do with a revamp! The shower leaked onto the floor so we constantly had a wet bathroom floor. The hotel had good secure storage for our bicycles.

  Clean and comfortable hotel

  I mostly stay here because its good value for money and the place is clean and comfortable. There arent many hotels with a location and facilities like this that are affordable. Great inside restaurant.
