  A great experience!

  If you like travelling, but don't want to part from the comforts your house offers, then you will love Karfas Sea! The apartmens are big enough to accomodate 5, maybe 6 persons, which is ideal if you're travelling with your family or friends. What is more, they are fully equiped with the electrical devices a house normally has, such as fridge, washing machine, microwave etc, so you won't feel dependant and unable to do what you like in your own time, as one might feel while staying in a hotel room where you can't even make a cup of coffee on your own. I was especially impressed by the washing machine, as I am really bored of washing beach towels and everything on hand. The wifi signal is very good as well, and all the rooms are equiped with an air-conditioning machine. The location is exellent, both for families with children, and young people. The apartments are 1 minute walking distance from the beach, which is sandy and the waters are warm, making it perfect for the children. Also, Karfas is a developing tourist area, so has a lot of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby (no more than 10 minutes walking). There are a few mini markets in the area, and a supermarket 4 minutes by car. Karfas beach is approximately 10 minutes from the town of Chios by car, and there is a frequent bus line to the city center there. Each appartment has its own parking spot.   Excellent location and accommodation for families, with all the amenities you need!

  The apartment we rented was very spacious with 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen, bathroom with shower, and even a washing machine (perfect for longer stays). If you dont speak Greek, you will have to ask the owner how to run the washing machine because all the indications are in Greek. The kitchen is ok for basic cooking but the pots are not great and you will find that the food may stick to the bottom. The balcony offers a nice view of Karfas bay and the Turkish coastline. The apartment is cleaned daily and the owner Dimitri is very friendly and helpful and is often at the building site if you need any help. When we were there the Wi-Fi connection was not very good, but that may have changed because the owner was planning on adding routers to all the rooms. The apartment is a short walk to the beach and Karfas village, where you will find restaurants, cafés and a small supermarket if you need anything in a pinch. If you hire a car, Karfas is only a short drive away from the main supermarkets near the airport and is a good base for exploring the island. And thanks a lot for accommodating a later check-out given our departure by ferry late in the evening, much appreciated!

  Great location

  I spent 1 week with my family. Dimitris -the owner- is very helpful. Our luggage didn't arrive with us and he called the airport for us the day after to get more information. He knows almost all the island as he is in turism business for 34 years. Ask him for restaurants, beaches, ect The apartment had one big terrace sea view and one smal terrace in the back. The rooms are cleaned every day. Spacious rooms, bathroom and a large kitchen/living room. There is a microwave, fridge, washing machine and a small kirchen area but you have all you need for a sea holiday. Very windy therefore be careful when you lay out the beach towels. I strongly suggest this place and again, Dimitris was a perfect owner!
