  Totally satisfied

  My wife and myself stayed 6 nights and after a short trip to Koh Mak another 3 nights at the klong Prao resort. Even though its larger than the most places we stay. We found it very clean. Fantastic friendly and helpful staff. Trying to help in every way they could and even a few with a personal touch. Even some friends cut their vacation short due to the Corona various and recieved a refund. I would go back there for sure so would recommend it to everyone

  Should be called Lonely Beach (Coronavirus impact)

  This usually overflowing resort was almost deserted. The main breakfast dining area had been transferred to the beachside restaurant due to a lack of people, not an issue. The buffet breakfast was cancelled for my last couple of days and replaced with a set selection, not as good but acceptable under the circumstances. The accommodation was fine, awful TV reception, good wifi, decent shower, all in all, it was good value especially as there was a large discount. The beach was deserted but still offers great views, swimming and fabulous sunsets. I always visit this place when on Ko Chang and will continue to do so.

  Amazing Time, great service

  We arrived to the resort and immediately Khun Ping started helping us, he was so nice the whole time, great advices and suggestions. We are so thankful for his help and will definitively stay here again in the future. Mr. Jordi Morningstar

  very good beach front resort

  We stayed here in a beach front spa villa. Room was OK, nice bed and bathroom, however, there was little table space for a laptop and sofa was not that comfortable, also a micro small fridge. Normal maintenance issues as per most Thai hotels/resorts, loose fittings and air con issues. Pros: Nice surrounds and pool. Beach front restaurant/ coffee shop and good food. convenience shop and massage available. Breakfast buffet was very good. Staff OK except for Restaurant Manager. Good bathroom amenities Cons: Limited parking near villas Our villa had two aircon units outside, quite noisy. Water at the resort has a brownish tinge, maybe Island water is not filtered so well.? Restaurant Manger has a attitude problem, we ordered food through him on our last night, no food after one hour, we ask about our order and he said he had not forgotten us, however, we saw him rush to the food counter and spoke to the cooks, they rushed our food and after 1 hour and 15 minutes our first starter of food arrived, and it was terrible, my wife still had not received her food. We gave up and went and payed what was owing even though we didn't really eat what was served. The manager lied to us and did not apologize. We left and drove to a nearby restaurant and ordered some food and within 15 mins we ate. This ruined our stay here as previously we had no problems with the resort. The food manager needs to be addressed by the resort for manners and attitude. Overall I would stay here again ( different villa ) and recommend to future tourists

  Dreadful and Disdainful Staff

  Dreadful place with disinterested staff and poor quality food, which was actually inedible most of the time. Pool wasn't cleaned or filtered during our stay. No mats were provided for the sun chairs. We had a big brown rat in our room so they moved us. Next room the pipe in the bathroom burst at 3am in the morning. When I spoke to reception of the problem they promised to send maintenance. My wife, who is Thai, also explained the issue but they still didn't send anyone leaving us unable to use the bathroom. Whilst I appreciate we are all suffering during this pandemic you would think that the staff, who were fortunate enough to have retained their jobs, would actually try harder to look after their guests and not be so disdainful and ignorant. We are staying in Koh Chang for a few more days but we won't be staying at this poorly run resort. You want a high standard of service and attentive staff on your trip to Koh Chang then don't stay here. You won't get it. Unless of course, you have low standards and even lower expectations. Then go for it. Be Aware:Limited set choice for breakfast. No food or restaurant after 3pm No room service either. Pool bar closed. Resort shop is closed. Covid guidelines are not being followed or enforced. No mats or umbrellas on the sunloungers.
