  Poor service and cleanliness

  Stayed 4 days at Kubu on recommendation of friend who has stayed there a few times. Price was good, however basics were lacking. When I checked in there were no bathroom towels. You had to go searching for bathroom towels every time. They were not replaced every day and when you did get them, they were dirty - in fact filthy. No matter how many times you asked the staff to make sure you had towels - they always replied that it was not possible as they did not have any clean towels. Sheets were never changed on the bed. Room service (they made the bed) happened around 3pm or later each day. There were empty bottles left around the pool for the entire 4 days I was there. Wifi coverage was intermittent. Staff had a "zero care" factor. It was like they had been left to run the business with nobody overseeing them. Would not stay there again.

  One bedroom private villa

  Stay for 3 night. Ours is a private villa with our own private pool. Clean and spacious . Not that very far to the main road (5 to 10 minutes) walk. The 2nd day, we try to get our breakfast at the main villa, once we ordered with the staff what we want for breakfast and sat near the pool, another guest there very rude come to us and said that we cant be there cause they rented the whole villa. Okay, we understand but i think the staff should inform us when we order the breakfast instead of the other guest told us off. Its very rude and guest not supposed to talk to other guest expect from the staff. Or if they know each other. Tbis is only a misunderstanding, but still we are paying guest abd is the guest talk to us nicely, it will be okay.. but the guest are rude. Anyway.. apart from that experice, all other thisng is okay and enjoyable.

  Wouldnt stay here again

  I agree with the other poor, average and terrible reviews except to add a few things: Due to 25 of us staying here, it seemed staff had no idea how much food to order. The fruit platter for brekkie was so small and the fruit seemed like poor quality fruit. The bread for toast was so thin and white and the bacon was brown (not pink). The juices were so watered down. If you ordered Nasi rice or Nasi noodles or chicken porridge that was good - it seems these Indonesian dishes are easy to make. For all of us, there was just one guy taking the orders and cooking on most days, so some days we didnt get anything or a completely different meal. Average food at best. And service was so hit and miss. After 2 nights I just ended up ordering breakfast on the street. The room was good but our towels were dirty and we had to daily ask for repeat towels and pool towels - some with massive holes in them. There were only guys working here - maybe they needed a womans touch? and so much empty bottles/cans lying around. There were so few glasses that we ended up drinking gin and tonics in plastic cups!!!! The pool was good. I cant fault it. And the grounds/gardens are lovely too. For the same price we found another beautiful villa in Bali with a sensational breakfast. Look around....

  Floating breakfast

  We stayed 2 nights here - first night at the superior room : cheap and big room - second night at villa : 4times more expensive than superior room They provided floating breakfast at 8 am, big room, bathtub, private pool, kitchen, refrigerator, tv Cons : no accept credit card (only cash) A bit walking distance to potato head, Ku de ta and motel mexicola

  Relaxing

  We are staying here is very comfortable, the rooms was clean and spacious the price is again promo. suitable for relaxing but we got the most corner rooms with wifi which is not good because I have to work so we stayed 1 nigh only, but we are comfortable with this place, the staff are friendly.
